Naiari, a bastard daughter who was abandoned by her mother, ignored by her father and tormented by her stepmother the queen and her stepsister. She is a nobody without a title, without any use until her father decides to marry her off.

“Have you come to help me bathe wife.” Kael asked, his voice mocking and Naiari’s cheeks bloomed a rosy red of embarrassment.

“I am sorry your highness but I believe that is a task for your maids.” She said curtly, an unfamiliar tinge of jealousy annoying her as she remembered that the maids got to see him naked.

“Kael.” He said and she looked up at him in confusion.

“Call my name.” He demanded, his eyes hot as they concentrated on her lips as if willing her to open them and speak his name.

The next morning Yvette woke up feeling rejected and she realized with disappointment that Kael had not slept in the room, looking at the way nothing had changed she realized that he had probably not come back at all after he left and she could not help wondering where he had slept.

She had quickly planned the seduction as the way to make them bound together but he had turned her down and without any explanation at that. She was sulking and she decided that she would wait in the bed until whenever he chose to come back, he could not avoid his room all day.

Then a thought struck her and she sat up quickly as she wondered if he had somehow seen Naiari. They had her locked up but who knew with a person as slippery as she was. Yvette did not put it past Naiari to do something stupid most especially now that they no longer had Celia to hold over her head and forced obedience.
