“I am sorry your highness but I believe that is a task for your maids.” She said curtly, an unfamiliar tinge of jealousy annoying her as she remembered that the maids got to see him naked.

“Kael.” He said and she looked up at him in confusion.

“Call my name.” He demanded, his eyes hot as they concentrated on her lips as if willing her to open them and speak his name.

The word registered in his head after he took a lungful of her scent, shocking him to a literal stop then he immediately went alert when he heard a scream that sent him crazed with fury.

He barged into the room and saw a man's back then he realized that the man was atop his mate who was kicking and struggling, trying to get away.

He then stared at the terrified woman who was shivering on the bed, his eyes narrowing as he wondered what kind of sorcery this was?

Shaking on the bed and trying to pull her torn clothes to cover her nakedness was Naiari, her eyes wide and red rimmed from crying.
