No Worry At All.

The man held the silver chain as if he were holding an explosive. His face goes paler with every passing second. Not only Ethan had beaten them but he was also robbing them.

These gangsters robbed them for a long, so doing that with themso it would feel so the them. But he was afraid of what would come after it. He shook his head at once and threw the chain back to Ethan as if his hands were burnt by it.

"Ha! I do not want such a thing. You can have all of them." Ethan weighed the chain again in his hands. Even if silver was ch, it would be worth some dollars. No?

He shrugged and placed them back in his jacket. If no one wanted them, he would keep all of them.

When he was checking the pockets of the thugs, he had found a pack of cigarettes too. He took it out and started smoking once. Since he had the power of a grim reaper, smoke should not affect him. Right?

David looked at him with a conflicted look. The young man had always been unruly he became docile when offered love and care and followed him like his family. In a long year, he had never created any trouble. But now, he was behaving so differently that David felt like he did not know this man at all.

"Ethan!" he called the man again and felt the strangeness again when he saw the coldness in that gaze.

"You want one too?" Ethan offered, walking closer. He passed the packet to David but David did not take it. He did not want to have something that belonged to those gangsters making Ethan chuckle.

"You worry too much, old man. Those goons have robbed so many people. This cigarette and the money in their pockets did not belong to them. So, it is not wrong to take it. I will never rob an innocent person." he explained with a slight smile. He was not a bad person. But he did not want to be too good to be trampled easily.

Now when life had given him another chance, he would live it without fear. He wasn't going to bow in front of the underworld.

David realized that he could not explain this young man anymore. More than that, he had no refusal to his words. So he slowly nodded and concentrated on his stall. As silence fell, the interested spectators returned for their work too.

Ethan stared at the stall. He did not look at work with disgust but no matter how much he tried, he did not want to do it. He would not sell meat.

"David, I think you were right.'' When the old man looked at Erhan again with a gaze full of hope, he whispered, "I should look for a better job. Perhaps open a business or get a job." David's eyes dimmed for a second. He thought the man would change his view about fighting and all. But then, it was a good thing that he was getting ambitious.

He had thought of marrying Anna with Ethan. But the only problem was, he did not want to give Anna a life full of poverty like they have lived. If Ethan got a job and so did Anna, their life would be much better. So, he nodded at once and suggested some good restaurants close by where he could work as a chef or as a waiter.

But Ethan did not like any of those jobs. He wanted a job as a manager or better. A job where he could be rich soon. He did not want to waste all his life in serving others. But he did not show it on his face.

Ethan could sense that David was already noticing a lot of changes. So, he showed enthusiasm about the jobs David suggested.

"Thank you for your support. I will go and check those places then." he took another whiff of smoke with an incomparable pleasure. He leisurely picked up a lamb skewer from David's cart and ate it as his breakfast.

Then he bought a newspaper and started reading it seriously. But he had only flipped one page when he felt someone was looking at him.

"Are you Ethan Stuart?'' This was the first time many had heard his last name. Many turned to look at the two policemen and one police officer in a crisp white shirt and blue pants looking at Ethan with a menacing gaze.

It was rather fast. It had only been two hours at most when Ethan had beaten those men yet the police were already here. David had a panicked look on his face when he saw the policemen and came forward.

But Ethan stopped him with a chuckle. He shook his head slightly, stopping the man on his way.

"I am Ethan Stuart. How may I help you?" his manners were elegant as if he was one of those high-class rich men but the policemen snickered looking at his fake actions.

"Look at you, a hoodlum offering help to the police. If you had been so mannered, you would not have beaten people, destroyed public property, and injured innocents." snickered one policeman.

"That is it Adien." The policemen stopped his associate but there was a smile on his face that showed he had asked his assistant to speak in the first place.

"We are from the Deccan street police department." he flashed his badge as he continued, "We have received a complaint against you. You have to come with us for the interrogation. You have the right to stay silent but everything you speak would be used against you." the warned as the other took out handcuffs.

Ethan's eyes flashed dark. In his past life, he would have panicked like David too. After all, he had lived an honorable life. But this new life gave him strange confidence. He did not feel scared hearing them but amused.

He had waited for more gangsters to come looking for him. But to think that the police were working for them.

"Ethan would never do such a thing." David refuted with a shake of the head as he looked at others for support. Many had come forward and praised Ethan for beating the goons before.

But now, no one has come forward. They whispered in the dark and stole their glance away.

"Ha!" David gritted his teeth. "Sir, there is some mistake."

"There is no mistake." the police officer admonished David in a cold voice, "if you tried to meddle, you would come with us as his ally."

Ethan shook his head and took a step forward. If worse comes to worse he would use the money at his house for his bail.

"There is no need to include others, I am coming with you." The policemen came forward and handcuffed him with a cold sneer on their faces. He looked at David, "You can keep this stall of mine. I am not returning to this stall."

But David misunderstood his words, he frowned with a look of worry in his sunken eyes.

"Do not speak rubbish. I will send Anna to see if we can find a lawyer. She will come for you soon. You do not need to worry." Ethan shook his head slightly as he started following the police officers as he whispered to himself.

"Oh no! Worrying was the last thing on my mind."
