" It wasn't, but I can't take any more of you snuggling up to him," Zyran said as he slid his hand around her neck and pulled her to him.
"Ah, your Highness?" Ali was saying only to be slapped by Aaron on the back.
"Let go, you fool," he told him. They then pulled out the unconscious Mr Dennis, closing the door behind him.
Zyran wasted no time in capturing Amira's lips biting down on them with the tip of his teeth before lapping at it.
"Aww Zee it hurts" she moaned out.
"That's your punishment for flirting with another man in front of me"
"But you planned this whole scenario. I am only playing the part," Amira replied.
"You were overdoing it," he told her.
"It all for you zee"
"I don't like you taking off your fur raccoon it makes my blood boil when other men get a view of what's mine"
"Do you prefer I walk around with a veil on?" She asked.
"I think that's a good idea" he replied only to receive a hit from Amira she got up her seat ready to walk away only to be pulled back and pinned on the close by wall.
"What do you think you are doing?" Amira asked.
"Appreciating my wife's beauty," he replied and crashed his lips on hers the next seconds demanding a hungry kiss, he trailed a kiss down her face and nippled on her neck which made her grip his shirt tightly, she pushed her head back and a gasp escape her lips as soon as the kiss trailed further.
"Zyran I_" she breathed out, her first becoming tighter.
Zyran pulled away his eyes lost in her alluring gaze as he couldn't get enough.
"Shall we?" Zyran asked and she nodded with a smile.
He ruffled her hair saying.
"Well done raccoon, I didn't know you had talent in theater," Zyran said complimenting her.
"Only for you to sample," Amira said with an innocent grin.
"He pinched her chin and placed a kiss on her lips.
The following morning, with the royal family gathered for breakfast, it was evident that Lord Uriah had left his daughter behind at the palace, and she was now vacationing with the royal family. On the other hand, Ivy had returned to her homeland, and Freya had departed with Lord Ezekiel.
As they sat silently consuming their breakfast, Danielle found herself seated opposite Zyran, with Amira at his side.
During this quiet meal, Royal Consort Leyla brought up the topic of marriage for the heir, Lloyd. She wore a small smile as she addressed the Queen.
"Your Highness, have you started preparing for your son Lloyd? He's of age to get married."
Queen Miranda, maintaining a polite facade, responded cooly.
"Thank you for your concern Consort Leyla, but I have everything under control. I've heard that many suitors are seeking Katia's hand in marriage; perhaps it's time to select one soon, dear. Good men are hard to come by."
The Queen's words caused Katia to drop her spoon in surprise. She struggled to contain her anger, her clenched teeth revealing the depth of her emotions despite her composed exterior facade to keep calm.
"Your Majesty, with all due respect, I must confess that none of the suitors seem to capture my attention. As a princess, I simply cannot settle for anything less than true love, can I? I believe Novalie can relate, given her challenges in finding a suitable match, isn't that right, sister?" Katia remarked, subtly bringing Novalie into the conversation.
Novalie said nothing and only stopped eating; she gave Katia a small smile and said.
"You should enjoy all the attention sister am sure you are pleased with them"
"Oh poor Novalie you are at the prime age to get married things shouldn't be delayed men these days prefer younger women," Royal ConsortLeyla said
Danielle, who had been quietly savoring her meal, looked up and gently interjected.
"Marriage is a union that should not be rushed. Some things are simply meant to unfold in their own time. I have faith that Novalie will eventually find her perfect match."
"Indeed, Danielle has always borne wisdom beyond her years," Katia remarked, drawing closer to her.
Danielle smiled, and the king chuckled.
"It would be an honor to welcome you into our royal family through marriage, Danielle," the king declared.
In response to the king's words, Danielle gracefully made a small bow, choosing not to offer a direct reply.
Lloyd carefully placed a piece of chicken on Danielle's plate. As she thanked him with a small smile, her eyes drifted over to Zyran, who seemed lost in his thoughts, paying little attention to the lively family conversation.
Meanwhile, he was meticulously piling up Amira's plate with an array of delicious food, causing her to eat at a glacial pace.
"I can't possibly finish all of this," she whispered to him.
"You must, raccoon You're as delicate as a feather. I can't bear the thought of a strong gust of wind whisking you away," he retorted with a playful mock frown.
