Chapter 4:The Future(Reboot)
"If I know all I need is a coke to calm you down, I would've given you a dozen coke cans" I said to lighten the mood a little.
Opposite to me sit my girlfriend having coke happily like everything that happened is just a bad dream.
This is one of the things I like about her, she has strong mind and push through any hard thing you throw at her confidently.
It took me sometime to calm her down and we went to the cafeteria in the H.A to have some food.
Even though I very much like to know what she saw, it is better to let her process everything and give her sometime to adjust.
"It is not this coke that calmed me down but a certain someone hugging me all the time" she said with a loving smile on her face.
"If you want a hug I can give you as many as you want" seeing her smile like that is a relief to me as I have never seen her that shaken before.
"So, Cassie are you really alright." I asked her still worried.
"Yes Mark, I'm fine" she said with a small smile on her face.
"Then can you tell me what did you see in the future." I asked her with some hesitation.
"I have seen some dark things in my line of work Mark but the future I've seen were to happen...it will be the end of this world." She said with some fear in her voice.
"Can you tell me what you saw if that was okay with you." I asked her again with some hesitation.
"You know about my powers Mark, I still can't control and use them effectively but this time it is different as I have seen many futures..like there are some..."
"Possibilities.... Possibilities of the coming future...."I finished her sentence while waiting for her reply.
"Yes...even a single choice we make can change the future but in most of the futures I've seen you play a very very important role in the coming battles...but in some of them you are sealed and....and....we....we...were...." as she was recalling the future, her voice and body began shaking with fear.
I immediately went to hug her tightly, it seems asking about the details is a bad call.
"It's okay... Cassie... it's okay..."I keep repeating that line and caressing her back.
'May be it is not a good idea to have this talk.'
"I'm okay Mark... it's just... knowing the future is not always a good thing...but I have seen some good things....your future wife's....our kids...we are happy in most of them" she said with a smile on her face bigger than before.
"Wait...our kids...."unknowingly I shouted which draw the attention towards us. Even if this area is almost empty but some people are still present here and everyone present heard what I said.
She giggled at my reaction and gave a small peek on my lips. That action brought me back form forming the vision of our kids.
"Yes, we have kids in the future but we have to work hard for that to happen....very hard for that...to happen...." She whispered the last words in my ear that send some reaction in my lower part and made my little brother awaken.
"Enough talk about the future. Anyway what is the current progress." She said breaking from my hug.
"Status" with that word a window appeared infront of me. Only me and the ones bounded with me can see that.

"Sign..." I signed after seeing it.
"I know increasing the progress is going to be difficult but why are you stuck, it has been about 6 months I last saw it and their is hardly any change." She asked with some interest.
"Well...as you already know absorbing the powers from the little guy is very easy at first but after I hit 50% and awakened reality warping, the difficulty in absorbing went to nighmare."I paused while sensing the little guy in me.
"I'm trying but I hardly make any progress."I signed in defeat.
"Or it is you being lazy. In 15 years, you can only make it to 79%, Remember mark, You may be strong for S rank hunters but you are still very weak compared to Ex rank hunters. As you are now give me sometime and even I can defeat you." She said the last part to mock me.
She's not wrong, it has been 15 years since I awakened my powers and I only make it up to 79%, I know I'm lazy but even though I'm typing very hard to increase the progress it doesn't have any results like it need some condition or something.
But the last part about her surpassing me hit a nerve, I'm stronger than most of Ex rank hunters and I can crush them if we were to fight.
"My dear Cassie, if you think I'm weak then how about testing it tonight in my room, I can show you my powers and all the different things privately to you....." Whispering the last part in her ears.
She grabbed my coller with her right hand and pulled my face in front of her, placed her left hand on my left cheek, our lips are only few inches away.
"I would very much like to test your strength Mr.Anderson, so tonight I will be the monitor for you and conduct a rank evaluation exam. I hope you don't disappoint me" locking her eyes with mine she said these words which turned me on even more.
I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer as our bodies connected and separated only by our clothes.
I placed my right hand on her waist and my left hand is on it's way to her ass.
"Mr.Anderson, Please remember that this is a public area, if you want you can get a separate room with sound proof enhancement." We both heard a voice few steps away from us.
"Hello Emma it's good to see you, I give my condolences to you for having to work with a pervert like him." Cassie immediately separated from me and went to have a talk with Emma while giving me a look which annoyed me.

'I see, I get it now. she must have seen Emma coming with her powers and decided to turn me on only to be left half way. Good one Cassie but don't forget that today maybe yours but tonight will be mine.'
I looked at her with a smirk that sent Shivers to her spine.
"Mr.Anderson, can you please stop thinking about the lewd things always." Said the annoyed secretary.
"You sure you don't have any mind reading powers" how can she know what I'm thinking everytime.
"I can tell what you're thinking with the look on your face." I received a reply with a deadpan expression on her face.
"Sign...women....I can't understand them...."
"Anyway I'm here for Miss webb as there is a situation involving an irregular in the Star City, we are currently working low on members so both you and I are going for this mission to rescue the people while the hunters engage in combat with the irregular." Emma said with urgency in her voice.
"Who's secretary are you and why am I not involved in this mission."
H.A is always short on members as many people are interested in joining a guild and riding dungeons as that was quick way to gain money, power,fame and experience.
"Because you're going to a meeting with vice-president as she told me to inform you, you better get going as there are some influential people near her right now and for your question I very much like to be with Miss webb than with you" a clear sarcastic reply on the last part.

When I open the room of vice-president aka my mother to ask her why she called me to a meeting but surprised to see the people talking to her.
"Hello Mr.Anderson."
'What the hell are they doing here.'
