Neith was struggling to stand after Seth's blow. Her bone armor was damaged, her breathing heavy, but her spirit remained unbroken.
"This won't be easy, I suppose…" she murmured to herself, raising her sword in preparation once again.
However, before she could take another step, the ground beneath her began trembling violently—more intensely than the previous tremors. Deep cracks spread rapidly, and suddenly, the terrain split in two.
"Neith!" Zhilan shouted as she watched her companion fall into the crevice.
Neith reacted quickly, driving her bone sword into one of the crevice walls to stop her fall. Although she avoided the worst, her position was precarious, and Zhilan couldn't hide her concern.
On the other side, Seth smirked maliciously at the sight.
"Looks like the goddess of victory is on my side after all," he sneered.
