"Stop here and set up camp! We are expected to reach Zephyria in three days!"

A sense of relief and struggle washed over Ira. Finally, she could rest her feet from the long-distance walking, but she felt a sense of struggle because, in two days, she would be stepping into the Zephyria, the nation that just destroyed hers.

As Ivan let go of Ira's wrist, she sighed, sitting down while massaging his neck.

"God, we've been walking for hours, a butler like myself can't handle walking that long. I'm surprised you can even still stand Reign!"

Reign laughed at Ivan's statement, forcing Ivan to stand up before replying.

"You're just lazy. Look at Kathryn! She's not even tired in the slightest!"

That was a lie. In fact, Ira was just happy she could sleep and rest her legs! She had no strength to walk for hours on end, so she just had to hold in the pain that her legs were feeling.

"Not true; I'm just actually happy that we could rest! I'm exhausted, you know?

As Ira replied, Ivan went into deep thinking and sighed.

"When we were on that walk, you seemed to be holding off on your own pretty well. You deserve to get some rest."

Reign nodded and replied, "Yeah, Ivan is right. I thought you were doing well with that long walk. But just rest now. In the next two days, head maid Reira will be screaming in your ears again!"

Ivan and Reign laughed, joking about many things about this Reira, but Ira's thoughts remained stuck on how she was going to survive when she got back.

She didn't know how to clean or cook, scrub the floors, or even use a broom! She was a lost cause!

She wouldn't survive even an hour; she knew the maids in her palace. They worked long hours and long shifts to ensure the palace was in top shape for visitors or potential alliances.

Ira didn't think much back then about the maids in her palace, but the one who stood out the most was Arabella, the maid who saved Ira just a few hours ago.

As Ira was reminiscing, Ivan and Reign were called by some other knight, leaving Ira alone.

"Sorry, Ira. We have to go! If you want to sleep, make sure to go to the tent for maids. Do not escape, or I will start looking all over for you, and if I catch you, I will make sure you won't have a chance to escape again."

As Ivan finished that sentence, he pulled his tongue towards Ira before leaving.

Now, all that was left was for Ira to enter the tent for maids. But what was ahead of her future was already written in stone.
