Ira Korzchent, grew up to be loved by all in the kingdom of Iskandria with only knowledge of embroidery, manners, and how to keep up with conversation in today's societies. She of all people never though of picking up a sword. 

The kingdom of Iskandria brutally lost everything to the kingdom of Zephyria, the only thing holding onto the memory of Iskandria is the people who were from that kingdom. The language, culture, everything now lies into the people who have survived that brutal massacre, including Ira.

Ira, now resides in the kingdom of Zephyria, but she is suddenly given the opportunity to become a maid in the palace, a plan occurred in her mind. Kill the Royal Family, and bring justice to Iskandria.

But, hear goals are stopped by an unexpected love interest, Crown Prince Kaius, the man apart of the family who destroyed Iskandria.

Thorn And Throne

As everyone was pampering around Ira, they wouldn't let her out of sight! She is the bane of their existence. They were all getting ready to go to bed and gossiping.

"You know, Crown Prince Kaius, it would be great if he became our leader. This topic may be controversial, but even though Emperor Kaelin is our wonderful leader, our empire must improve. If anything, we're controlling the world through fear."

The maids immediately disagreed with the maid who shared her thoughts. This made Ira ask herself, what does Emperor Kaelin have them on?

The maid's thoughts were justified; out of all people, Ira knows Emperor Kaelin, and that scares her. She knows if she gets caught by him, it's all over.

Even so, HE killed her people, and HE killed her parents. If anything, she was going to kill him; Emperor Kaelin is in a situation where he's defenceless. Ira believes if she kills him tonight, she will bring justice to Iskandria while spitting on Emperor Kaelin's grave.

Ira began to join in the conversation. "What is the Crown Prince like? Is he like his father?"

There was a moment of silence for the maids to think; it looked like they knew little about the Crown Prince.

"Well, to be honest, I'm not sure. The Crown Prince is like the Emperor, ruthless and powerful. He intoxicates you with one second of his presence! Mina here, who says that the Crown Prince could bring our kingdom to new heights, is mistaken!"

Mina scoffed before expressing her disappointment.

"Well, Karina here. I've never even seen the Crown Prince before! And I have! I could tell you, I can see Zephyria's future in that man!"

Mina and Karina's bickering continued until another maid stopped them.

"You both need to rest. We must make breakfast tomorrow for hundreds of soldiers with just the six of us."

Karina and Mina's embarrassment was there, but they quickly brushed it off."

"Yeah, we should probably sleep. I'd rather make food tomorrow with energy."

Karina and the other maids nodded as they quickly went to bed.

But the night is so young that it's time for Ira's revenge.
