Marcus had built his own team over the years—fighters, thinkers, and a few students who could break a wall just by looking at it wrong.

His first student was Cyran Kade, a shadow-warrior who could turn invisible and move through walls. Quiet, smooth, and always appeared behind you during conversations. Later he became teacher.

Then came Sana Pyre, a fierce girl who could breathe fire and control it like it was her dance partner. Her hair was always warm (and sometimes literally on fire). She had burned through 14 training dummies and 3 couches in her first week.

Next was Nyra Frost, who controlled ice and snow like a winter queen. She never got cold, never slipped on ice, and could freeze an entire room just by sighing. She acted cool and distant—but she always watched over her friends.
