JASMINE
I knew the emotions she wore too well. I moved away from her. I was skeptical about allowing her in especially after she said she was Finn's mate, Finn had never mentioned he had a mate to me, not even if with Nathan did I overhear him say it which made me think she was lying but I ignored it. I did not want to be the reason something happened to her or Finn especially if she was saying the truth.
Besides, if she was lying, all I had to do was yell and Nathan would come running down with the hope that he was not a deep sleeper.
"Can I get you something?" I asked, hoping that her answer was going to be no because I still did not know my way around the house, talk less about how to treat a visitor in the house.
I was also not sure there was anything in the house. The food Nathan served me in the morning did not taste home cooked so I knew she bought it from somewhere.
