FINN
The pack was quieter than usual today and I wondered why. It was like everyone had decided not to come out to train or play with each other as the cubs would. I walked towards the pack house, happy because Nathan and I had planned to have a beautiful day outside the pack house, something we had not done in years.
Nathan was as serious as he could be, hoping to get a mate. On the other hand, I was not ready to but I knew I was going to accept her if she came earlier than I was ready for it. Unlike Nathan, I was glad not to be the Alpha's son because the pressure he was now feeling was nothing to write home about. I knew from all the expressions and explanations about how he was feeling about his father putting pressure on him even when he knew it would be years before he had to choose a mate since his father still had years to rule as the Alpha.
