Chapter 80 - Slow Death

NATHAN

The noise hit me and I turned to see a black wolf standing on all fours, the black shiny colour being the one thing that made it stand out in the room. Seeing the wolf in the place of Jasmine, I couldn't help but feel angry at my father for hating her. She was the most beautiful wolf I had ever seen and the kind of wolf I would love to have beside me as a mate.

"Jasmine?" I called to her.

She turned to me, her eyes were red and shone in the room. I was not sure if it was anger or every other emotion she was feeling that made her eyes like that or if it was just that her eyes were like that but whatever it was, I loved her eyes too much.

I could not help looking at her and wondering why I had not seen her before now and how her wolf could hide such beauty for years, never to be seen by anyone. If my dad saw her the way she looked right now, I was sure he would agree he made a mistake.
