convince me - II

The silence in the room had become more dense. Killian refused to say anything, and Brandon refused to look towards him. If this continued, then none of them were moving from this place.

It was awkward, killing silence that could bury him to his bed. Why was he not speaking?

He was not going to begin this discussion. If Killian wanted to talk he began doing that himself even if he was dying for Killian to do it already.

Was his boss doing this on purpose?

Instead of beginning, he decided to leave. That was what Brandon assumed when Killian started to work towards the door. But instead of going through it, he kept his hand on the door and closed it locking inside.

What?

Why did he lock the door? What was the need to do that?

"So," Killian started speaking as he slowly made his way to Brandon's bed, "you want to be discharged in the hospital, yes?"

"I do, yes."
