The ringtone of Brandon's alarm blasted through, making his eyes snap open. He reached over to turn it off before picking up his mobile to check the notifications. As usual, there was no one checking up on him.
This part of his life was the only one that caused him pain. Almost everyone had someone to check up on them, a friend, a parent grandparent, or even some kind of cousin, but that was not the case for him. Brandon had absolutely no one.
They were no notifications on his phone, apart from a few marketing messages and emails from subscriptions he had purchased. Other than that, nothing.
The same was with his gallery. It was completely empty, devoid of any human personality. The only pictures he clicked of things he found to be unique.
