Avoiding

Chapter Hundred-One: Avoiding

Zenith let Aleksandra and Gion return to the class as he knew they didn't leave school alone. He noticed Dexter Esther about to leave.

"I assumed you'd honor my request." He appeared behind her and said. "I told you to stay back."

A shiver ran down her spine and she handed Felix and Frederic their bags that she held for them while they bickered with each other.

She muttered. "S-Sorry, sir."

Zenith disliked those kind of apologies. There were always so half-hearted. Wasn't she only sorry because he caught her and her plan didn't work?

If her plans had worked, she'd never be sorry. It made him wonder why he had found her in his room in the first place. Was she doing something wrong in there?

He felt the same for Mages that turned to Dark Mages and hurt people and their excuse would always be that there was much pressure and pain from being on the losing side.
