Illusory Mage I

Chapter Hundred-Four: Illusory Mage I

The old man had a proud expression, it wasn't all the time the young Mage accepted how amazing he was to be able to have lived so long.

But it didn't last long as Zenith added. "But before I die, he'd probably be the same height as his dog."

The young Mage patted the old man's head, a smirk coming to his lips. "Your age increases and your height decreases."

"Equivalent exchange, that's all." The man slapped Zenith's hand off his head. He rubbed his cheeks. "My good looks were taken too."

There was no reaction as Zenith and Escanor searched his face, finding it hard to believe his 'rat-like' face ever looked good.

The old man exhaled deeply. "Also Minnie is… dead." he sighed. "Dogs don't live that long."

Escanor became quiet but Zenith only had a slight disappointed expression. "No wonder no one answered the door." He said flatly.

The old man slowly nodded, with a sullen expression.
