As soon as the two figures dove into the water, the surface exploded into droplets. A pool of bubbles formed as the two struggled against each other, ostensibly wrapped into the arms of a sea monster. For Sirena, it was her first time in the ocean, and she found herself captive - held forcefully by a stranger she did not know.
The water surrounding them was neither dark, nor obscure, but still hard to see. Sirena's heart was battering rapidly in her chest as she fought to break free from the stranger's cage and find her way back to the yacht. Irrepressible rage began to set in as she struggled to free herself, but the stranger persisted, their grip refusing to weaken.
At that moment, she was in complete despair.
"Who are you? Let go of me! Leave my arm! No, don't pinch there. Stop! You stink of cigarette. Did you have a...?" she gasped, almost sinking into the water if only the stranger's stronghold weren't behind her.
"What... What are you...?" Sirena's question hung in the air while her voice drawled as she confronted the stranger. His cold hands, moving impeccably to her fine round hips, gobsmacked her, catching her off-guard. Flustered, she retaliated by thrusting her arm behind her and jabbing the man's chest with her thin elbow. "Get your hands off me!" soon backfired as she felt a sprain. The stranger's chest was damp and stiff, leaving her stunned by her unsuccessful actions.
"Shh! There's no one here. We are alone, my love." The man's soothing tone crept into her ears in a whisper and caused them to twitch in response to the consuming intimacy. Not only that alone, but the rise of adrenaline and the thickness of his biceps sent a rush of heat through her tensed body. Even without the need to turn back, she had already pictured the stranger's facial expression based on his daunting words. He sounded as though they were acquaintances of some sort which Sirena was sure she hadn't encountered any impudent brute.
"Dear, your bones have weakened. I didn't expect any less." he chuckled, continuing to speak to her although she didn't appear to be listening.
"I can't wait any longer. Turn around for me, my love." the stranger growled, urging her to turn around for him.
Drenched miserably without any plans had gotten Sirena riled up. Gritting her teeth, she flushed pink in the face. Because, the moonlight fell particularly surrounding them, her beautiful face stood out. But what worsened her mood was the intruder's constant expression of affection which she so much detested.
"Get the f**k off me!!" she warned ferociously.
"My tigress."
Ignoring her, the man began tracing his fingers to her round bosom, in unison, he started peppering kisses on her neck and shoulders. Feeling the dissatisfaction of her resistance, he fumbled with the ribbons of her dress to untie them, which was the main purpose of holding her bosom in place.
Sirena quickly succumbed to distress at this attempt and struggled to pull the man away from her body. She wondered if he was drunk and had mistaken her for someone else. Regardless, his continual pursuit left her questioning: was he blind?
"Excuse me. I think you have got the wrong woman." she cried, her body growing lighter inside the water. She began to feel cold and feared the dress would completely stick to her skin, which would make the crazy man into something inhuman.
"Really?" he asked softly. The man tightened his grip around her bony arms but never stopped placing kisses over her petite body. His eyes were sharp and predatory. He suddenly pinched the sides of her waist and wickedly turned her around. He hadn't even given the woman time to compose herself when he pushed himself and sealed his lips with hers.
"I don't think I am mistaken, though," he confessed between his advances.
The moon briefly looked at the two silhouettes underneath her and gracefully smiled at them, her likeness emplacing beads of sparkles on the dense waters, bordering them. The appearance was a sight to behold. It was simply enthralling.
The kiss started with a bit of softness, but in a span of a second, it turned covetous. The man was trying to suck her entire essence. There was a whiff of his murky breath that blended with the cloudless night, and he wouldn't let the woman escape his sight for a minute as though he feared something terrible. The gulping, tracing, and adherently fetish of his long, pointed nose, brushing against hers appeared to have triggered him. In between, his sly hands artfully found their way under her buttocks, and effortlessly pulled her whole body for him to devour.
Sirena, on the other hand, widened her eyes in shock. Her siren eyes looked distressed. Her chest heaved irregularly, akin to a patient about to dive into a panic attack. The way the man was breathing and his ravenous attitude toward her made her feel disgusted.
Outraged and unsure of what to do, she unintentionally bit the tip of his tongue making it bruise. This led to him withdrawing backward with shallow drawing breath. It was when their eyes met each other did the surprise sank in. Sirena was coughing intensely, her lips too swollen and her head muddy.
The unexpected events left her screaming in shock, her voice echoing like a wild cry. Stunned and unable to find words, she still managed to utter a sound.
"Does this place look like a forest to you? To just start acting like an animal in heat? What the hell is wrong with you!! And who the f**k are you? Do you just attack every woman like a deranged person? Do you want to die?"
The man laughed softly. He was amused.
"Your questions are quite impressive. Do give me time to reply to them, maybe some other time." he playfully smacked his lips together. A glint of mischievousness danced behind his emerald eyes as he enjoyed the banter between them. The exchange managed to reduce his boredom by a mere two percent.
"You do look like a statue from heaven! My statue. Look at those lustrous lips, aren't they beautiful? There are no others like me to create one in a lifetime masterpiece." The man stated while staring at the masterpiece he had done on her lips before his predatory eyes went to roam over her half-naked body charmed by its allure, he could not tear his gaze any further away, and he teasingly licked his lips, tracing his tongue languidly to the spot she had bitten him.
Sirena was left speechless again, something that had never happened. The color on her face withered, replaced by a seething rage. There was one major ordeal in her life, and that was an adjustment - a steadfast refusal to bend to life's whims. She was the type to abide by the rules, and her rules were clear: 'No concessions to life'. Through her successful debut, she remained unyielding to new rules or change, because that was out of her path, yet now, everything had changed.
The word 'Change' hung over her head like a shackle, a verbal metaphor that had imprisoned her. The woman had gone through hell, sparked by that simple verb.
Right now, her thoughts were scattered. She followed his line of sight to discover her body exposed underneath the soaked fabric of her dress was seeable. She gasped, and pulled behind to escape the water, back to the yacht, but a thick strong arm encircled her waist, halting her movement.
"Relax. I knew you were not my lover. Miss Calantha. It's a pleasure to meet the queen of cuisine. What a great day for a huge fan, isn't that remarkable? Eh?" The man placed a fleeting peck on her ear, but to his surprise, his left face was swung to the side.
Sirena had struck him.
Taking out her anger, she threw her trembling palm to his right cheek with a more severe strength causing an echoing impact, and that went on until she heard the voice of her secretary.
She turned away abruptly, refusing to glance back, and her voice erupted in a loud yell. "Is this amusing? Do I hold a resemblance to your toy? Disgusting!! Better disappear from the surface of the earth. I'll kill you if I even sniff the same air with you."
On the other side of the yacht, Lady Chloe was scouring the vicinity in sight of her lady, but to no avail. She cried out her name, quietly, fearing a drama between her and the nobles. She looked from the cabin to the deck, then to the main hull, until she got sight of a figure at the platform which was prohibited to the guests.
Sirena gasped for air, curtly, her eyes looking out of the yacht sharply, especially at the shameless man, still gawking at her body. Only she knew how much she yearned to have her rifle in her hands at that moment. If she did, she wouldn't waste meaningful time busting his brains.
"Miss Calantha. Sirena. Where did you run off to? I looked around... Oh my!! How did you get drenched? Oh my!! Your skin... How come you are naked? Y-Your l-lips! Did you bite them? What are those marks around your neck? Good riddance! Did you take a man to bed? I thought you'd quit that irrational lifestyle" Chloe became petrified as her eyes darted from one part of Sirena's body to another. She whispered. "You ought to have resisted the urge. What if you were caught by the matriarch herself? It's an important night..."
"Enough of this nonsense! Quit stuttering! Get me out of this wretched yacht!!" Sirena's frustration got the best of her as she shouted. Lady Chloe's constant complaints gave her severe headaches, not to mention the unwelcoming weather.
"You are being ridiculous. The matriarch has..." Lady Chloe quickly shut her mouth and discreetly cleared her throat when she recognized the 'No questions asked' stern expression on Sirena. She immediately changed the topic and waited for the dreadful evening to take its course by nature.
"Ah, yes. Let's get you changed. Thankfully, there's a spare dress." Chloe heaved a sigh of relief that there was a spare dress. She quickly assisted Sirena off the platform. However, as she turned around, she caught sight of a man in the water. And with a bloodthirsty expression that sent shivers down her spine.
More than that, he looked familiar. Oddly familiar.
What happened?
Surely, she must have come across him before, or not?
Was he Sirena's new plaything?
She hoped not
