The loose end

(THIRD PERSON'S POV)

"We didn't think of one thing." Steele said to Aztec as they headed for the main door of the mansion that Rhea lived with her family.

"What's that?" Aztec asked in a hurry.

He did not want to leave any stone unturned.

"The pups will be asleep. It's too early." Steele said.

Aztec thought about it and then he shrugged.

"I guess, we will have to wait for them then." Aztec said just as they got to the entrance and were led in by the guards.

Aztec and Steele walked briskly towards the main living room space and they stopped when they saw that the room was filled with people already. The young ones, an older she-wolf as well as Lillith and her daughters were occupants in the room.

"Well, I guess we don't have to wait for them to wake up. They are up already." Steele said as he leaned in to Aztec for a whisper.

Lillith rushed foward and bowed her head respectfully.
