Ch - 3 Legacy Trials

The screen is still showing the option but rex decided to ignore it and start to focus on class 

'Students get ready and be in line its our class time to enter legacy trials' says the teacher

All students get up and forms a line they all were holding weapons some has very cool looking weapons of course the students from rich family 

Rex reaches the ground and stops an sees a 10 feet tall portal and students were entering it one by one 

'At least i will be teleported out if i would get near death in legacy trials' Rex thoughts 

Instructor standing in front of portal sees the new students arriving and starts to explain rules 

'Legacy trials will have stages at every stage you will have to fight with monsters the more stages you will clear the better your legacy would be and yes if you get in situation were you can die you will be forcefully teleported out and you will obtained the legacy according to what was the last stage you have completed' said instructor

'so all i have to do is give my best huh well at least it wont be boring i think its will be fun my heartbeat is increasing damn when was the last time i felt like this ' Rex thoughts

Now it is time for Rex to enter as he took step inside portal and enters and when his eyes opens he was in a platform and nobody was there and the platform has screen in which there was written "stage 1"

Rex hurried up and holds the daggers tightly not knowing what is going to come and something teleported in front of him it was a goat

'what the fuck a fucking goat seriously no wonder everyone have a legacy even if its a shitty legacy 'Rex thoughts as he attacked but instead the goat headbutted him before he can even do anything 

Rex falls on the ground while the goat looked at him

'fuck i underestimated it ' Rex thought as he got back up and put daggers in front 

Rex starts the attack again but he has plan now instead of directly attacking he waited for goat to attack the second goat tries to headbutt him he sidestep and stabs the goat's head with his daggers 

'Well that was hard ' Rex said while panting 

The screen pop up again in front of him

notification : do you need help

'Nope don't care about this screen anymore let him say what he wants ' Rex thoughts 

the screen of the platform changes to stage 2 as the body of goat disappears and a tiger looking animal teleported in the platform 

'Fuck i can't fight that ' Rex thought

Rex hurriedly put his daggers in front of his eyes and face and tigers started to move snarling around him the tiger leapt on him and rex also just starting slashing without looking his daggers slash the area in front of him and tiger was slashed because of it when Rex opens his eyes he was luckily alive 

'Damn that was way to lucky why was the difficulty increased by so much ' Rex thoughts 

Rex looked at the platform's screen which had a countdown of 10 seconds and them he looked at the screen floating in front of him 

' fuck it lets click yes i do need help a lot of help' Rex thought as he clicked yes on the screen 

The second Rex clicked yes the screen changed and Rex eyes goes black completely it was like unlimited darkness the screen changed into new notification 

Notification : Black emperor has temporarily shared 0.000001% of his power with you 

Mission: Get SSS legacy in legacy trials

Reward : Black emperors weapon(broken)

Failure penalty : paralyzed for 3 days

'what ' Rex thoughts but his thoughts were stopped there as platform started showing stage 3 

A humanoid figure teleported in front of Rex it was short and has a poorly made stone knife with green skin and ugly face it was a goblin 

Rex got his daggers ready as the goblin jumped to slash him rex stopped the attack with his dagger and used other dagger to slash the goblin 

'when did i get so fast and string my senses are increased and i can somehow see every single movement very easily ' Rex thought

Soon the next stage arrived and this time it was a wolf with a horn on his head the wolf was faster then the tiger before but still was easily killed by rex now comes the stage 5 and this time it was a snake but it was big snake which was killed by Rex by putting dagger in his mouth and he bitted down in it

'Damn this Black emperor power is was too good its like i am breezing though this trials' Rex said as the new stage and new monster teleported in front of him 

At stage 6 the monster which was teleported was another humanoid looking guy but this time he had face of a lizard and was wielding a long range spear Rex rakes his stance and both there blades slashed as rex blocks the spear from piercing his chest with his daggers 

The lizardman sidestep take his spear a little back and swing on him again

' Shut up i don't understand you idiot' Rex roared as he blocked and slashed at lizardman 

After consecutive clashes of blades of daggers and spear the lizardman got tired and slowed down but Rex was now tired at all as he slashed lizardmen head off in the heat of moment 

' Fuck what oh ok i thought he would block that but he was far slower then me from start but somehow i was not able to touch him at all i think its because of my technique is just slashing and blocking ' Rex said 

Rex look forward as he waited for the next stage to start
