Their past 4

All present were stunned except Madhuri but as cunning as she was, she posed a question with genuine confusion, "Aarav what are you saying, you broke off the marriage you loved Arundhati so much, Haaa..." she passed and after sighing she continued "I am sure you made this decision because you had no other choice how disappointed must you be with her to make such hard decision I know it must have hurt a lot right?, I can't imagine the amount pain you had to go through". Of course, she wanted to learn why this ever so naughty boy was ready to marry a girl from low class family, and why did he break it off suddenly, but she couldn't ask it directly at least not here so, she chose her words carefully and posed her question making it sound as if Aarav was the victim and Arundhati was the villain this was a great choice in many ways Trivedis would not suffer any backlash in the upper class society, her words also remind people of the gap between the families and also if she supported her nephew when he is in a tough spot then he would be happy to support her when he receives inheritance right?

Aarav and Kailashnath were the only people to understand the underlying purpose of her words and both were looking at her one with no expression while other with irritation.

All the guests started leaving the Trivedi mansion while the inside was only getting heated,

Aarav went into his room and after freshening up he looked ready for a night out with his friends, kailashnath barged into his room and after taking a look at his son his rage was beyond control as he said, "Aarav you are now coming with me to Arundhati's house, and you will be marrying her today"

"Mr. Kailashnath I am a major and who will I be marrying is not for you to decide, so please don't over stress yourself with things you can't control and just sit and chill, and also I have a party to attend"

Cutting off Aarav's words Kailashnath interjection and said

"Aarav after whatever you did to that poor girl do you think I will let you leave"

Aarav's face formed a mischievous smirk while he said,

"Mr. Kailashnath you can worry about that girl later but for now" saying that he went to a nearby table which was covered by a red table cloth and removed it, "someone tipped off the narcotics department about 25 KG of drugs in Trivedi mansion, and they are making their move, handle this first Mr. Kailashnath I am off"

Kailashnath and Rishi son of Madhuri Trivedi left home in Aarav's search after sorting out the drug matter whereas Arundhati's parents reached Aarav's house.

Next morning,

Since it's Arundhati's first day in Trivedi Mansion as the daughter-in-law of the Trivedi family, she will be doing all the cooking and other members are expected to mark their presence at the dinning table.

In the kitchen,

Arundhati was busy with her dishes while workers were busy with the cleaning. Madhuri entered the kitchen and seeing Arundhati working her eyes gave a mocking smile while her face maintained a somber expression.

"Arundhati do you need any help" she asked in a tone reflecting concern.

Arundhati turned her head to the voice and giving Madhuri her easy going smile she said "Thank you, but there is no need aunt"

"Arundhati you are so great managing to make food for such large number of people in such a short period of time is not an easy task, I guess coming from a not so well off family has its advantages as well"

Her words may confuse those who were not familiar with her but Arundhati knew her well, and she chose not to respond it was not because she was afraid of Madhuri but because of the respect she had for Kailashnath Trivedi.

Not hearing any response to her words Madhuri was a little disappointed but not giving up on her purpose she continued "Arundhati I know you must hate Aarav a lot after all what he did was not something a man with ethics would do, and I also think that you know Aarav tends to do things which no one expects just like how he let those dogs run free on your parents he can also try to harm you, but you have to stay strong and remember you have me and I will try my best to help"
