One of the women covered her mouth with her hand and smirked at Arundhati's helplessness before saying, "I heard your father is a professor, then would you mind telling us which teaching of his helped you in ending up with Aarav Trivedi, hahaha... you see though not comparable to Trivedis we ourselves are rich but were ignored completely when my husband went to ask for Aarav's hand in marriage with my daughter then don't you think it is natural for us to doubt how come a daughter from a mere middle-class family whose status is not even comparable to our shoe become the daughter in law of Trivedis."

"Mrs. Rani and Mrs. Swetha where are your husbands why are they not accompanying you both" It was Mr.Kailashnath who spoke while smiling but his eyes weren't smiling at all.

Both the women realized that the atmosphere was not right, and the tension was palpable so they couldn't help answering his question, After all even their husbande would shake while talking to him.

Then why bother Arundathi you ask well simple because they knew that Aarav didn't care about his wife and they thought who would even care about a women if her own husband wasn't, but how would they know that this girl was being favored by the head of house himself.

As if to relieve their tension, Arundhati turned to kailashnath and said, "I will handle this father"

Kailashmath smiled in return to her confident words and nodded his head.

" You both were right Mrs. Rani and Mrs.swetha My father is indeed a professor and ..."

She paused for a while before continuing her sentence and said, and " he sure thought me many lessens and one of his lesson is the reason why both of you are able to stand here despite uttering nonsense and that is to respect the elders, I know it sounds like some greek and latin after all, not all intelligent enough and as far as Aarav's marriage is concerned it is now a gone matter and I would advice you to accept it and move on ".

Her answer was crisp and clear for all to know and it impressed both Kailashnath and Aarar but how could they be satisfied with a mere reponse.

Mr. Kailachnath turned to them and said, "from this day on there will be no further dealing between our families and this is out of discussion and I truely believe there is no reason for you people to be here anymore, so I ask you people to go away so we could enjoy ourselves"

The women were too shocked to hear his words and imagining the consequences of their words they became immobile so as kind as he was, Kailashnath called for the guards and had them thrown out.

Aarar was ofcourse watching this for the whole time and was dissatisfied with the outcome, 'just ousting was that all this man would do when it came to his daughter-in-law 'he thought.

while Aarav was grumbling in dissatisfaction.

Kailashnath turned his head to his daughter and said ," I am sorry Arundhati I should have been more careful"

Arundhati looking at her father in law said," It's not a big issue Father, but are you sure about your decision cancelling all the dealings without any prior consideration wouldn't it hurt your business"

" Common Arundhati, If a minor mishap could damage this business, then we wouldn't have been able to stand strong for centuries"

completing his sentence Kailashnath turned to his son and locking his eyes with Aarav he said,"I am Sorry Arundhati , handling something like this should have been your husband's duty but I guess my son lacks the ability".
