Tracie returned to where Kace and Xavier were and was shocked to find Xavier shot in the leg.
"Don't worry, the shooter missed all vital spots, so he's going to be fine," Kace assured, his tone calm but serious. They had prepared well, equipped for situations like this. "Which makes me wonder why the shooter didn't finish you off. Do you think they were the ones who took the girls?" he asked, glancing at Xavier with suspicion.
"Yeah, the lady in the waitress uniform said she wasn't an enemy, the man shot me to rescue her, so they must be in cahoots with each other," he replied stiffly, glaring at the bandage wrapped around his legs.
Tracie paused for a second when she heard waitress from Xavier's mouth. Her mind drifted off to Anastasia, recalling the outfit was similar to what Anastasia was wearing.
"Can you remember what she looks like?" She carefully asked.
"She had brown hair and grey eyes," he responded.
