Valeria's Dangerous Discovery

Galaad raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "It's obvious you're going to reveal it to me anyway, Valeria."

Valeria let out a light laugh, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Very well," she said, as she approached the central fountain. She ran her hand over one of the carvings, triggering a hidden mechanism. A dull sound echoed as a section of the floor near the fountain slowly opened, revealing a stone staircase descending into the depths of the earth.

"Come," Valeria said, her gaze serious. "It's time to discover the true treasure of these ruins."

Galaad followed Valeria down the staircase, the walls around them adorned with intricate symbols and patterns. As they descended, the air grew cooler and more humid. The walls were illuminated by luminescent crystals embedded in the stone, casting a soft, otherworldly glow.
