In Darkness

In the silent halls of Zeyn's mansion, he grapples with solitude, the absence of companionship casting a heavy pall over his thoughts.

"I should have foreseen this," Zeyn mutters to himself, his words echoing off the empty walls. "She couldn't endure my chaos forever."

His introspection is abruptly interrupted by the insistent ringing of his phone, cutting through the quiet like a sharp blade. With a resigned sigh, Zeyn answers, preparing himself for the conversation ahead.

"Zeyn?" Mrs. Andrew's voice crackles through the line, laced with concern.

"Mrs. Andrew," Zeyn replies wearily, bracing himself for what comes next.

"You sound troubled. Are you free?" Mrs. Andrew's words spill out in a rush, urgency palpable even through the phone. "Let's meet at Alac restaurant. We'll have VIP treatment, like a romantic date. It's the perfect place to talk things out. 6 PM. See you there."

With a click, Mrs. Andrew ends the call, leaving Zeyn to mull over her invitation. Six days have passed since their last interaction, six days of solitude and reflection.

As the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of crimson, Zeyn finds himself seated at a table in Alac restaurant. The flickering candlelight casts eerie shadows, heightening his sense of unease as he waits for Mrs. Andrew.

When she finally arrives, Zeyn is taken aback by her youthful appearance, her green eyes sparkling with an otherworldly light. Despite his apprehension, he greets her with a polite smile, concealing the turmoil brewing within.

"I'm glad you could make it," Mrs. Andrew says, her voice smooth and composed. "You look even better in person."

Zeyn returns the compliment, though his mind is elsewhere, grappling with the dissonance between Mrs. Andrew's appearance and the voice he heard on the phone.

"Your voice sounds different in person," he observes, unable to shake off his growing sense of unease.

Mrs. Andrew laughs off his comment, steering the conversation towards safer topics. But Zeyn senses an underlying tension, a darkness lurking beneath the surface.

"Do you know anything about the Alien?" Zeyn ventures, his curiosity piqued.

Mrs. Andrew's demeanor shifts, her eyes darkening as she speaks of danger and power, sending a chill down Zeyn's spine.

Their conversation is abruptly cut short as Mrs. Andrew gestures towards the curtains, summoning the moonlight into the room. In that moment, Zeyn's right eye ignites with a fiery glow, a harbinger of the darkness closing in around him.

"It seems your media circus is about to become reality," Mrs. Andrew declares, her true form revealed in a flash of scales and claws.

Zeyn recoils in horror, realizing too late the gravity of his mistake. As he is dragged away into the unknown, the storm raging within him mirrors the chaos unfolding outside, threatening to consume them both in its tempestuous embrace.

And so, in the heart of the city, a battle rages on, each thunderclap echoing the tumult of Zeyn's own inner turmoil as he confronts the shadows of his past and the darkness looming on the horizon.
