Chapter 35

Lina took the initiative to reach for Erwin's hand, her beautiful face slightly flushed, yet still firm, she caught him. Erwin did not speak, but was little upset, yet he did not pull his hand away, instead, Lina gripped it tighter and embraced him in her heart, but reality seemed not allow them to be together. Seeing Erwin did not respond to her, Lina's eyes darkened slightly, and she changed the subject.

"By the way, are you going to Rose's birthday party tomorrow?"

Yeah, how did you know?" Erwin asked suspiciously after he recovered.

"She invited me as well, let's go together!" Lina paused, her eyes swirling, and she continued. "Erwin, you can return the Ferrari. Don't think about pretending to be lavish in front of your ex-girlfriend. Let her move past it. Anyway you should look forward. In this way, I will suffer little loss tomorrow, and it will be your day. My boyfriend, when Rose sees me as your girlfriend , she will definitely be jealous."

Erwin was somewhat startled, as Lina truly believed that he and Sam continued to quarrel just to show off and win Rose's heart. This made Erwin reluctantly smile for while.

"Alright, I'll help you out tomorrow." Erwin smiled slightly, and unwittingly held on to Lina's tender hand, felling reluctant to let go.

Following his parting from Lina, Erwin decided to return to his private villa.

Upon arriving, Erwin immediately lay down on the couch, feeling the day had been exceedingly draining. His servant calmly approached to Erwin massage him, skillfully kneading Erwin's weary thighs to soothe him.

"Sir, I've acquired the Jocelyn Taylor concert tickets you requested."

"Good, well done." Erwin appreciated the relaxing massage, which swiftly eased his body due to Anya's excellent technique.

Once relaxed, Erwin suddenly fell asleep, dreamless throughout the night, so that upon waking the morning was already bright and the warm sunlight streamed through the glass window, warming the entire villa.

Anya had prepared breakfast, comprising chicken soup, fried eggs, hash browns, and fruit salad, all crafted by Anya and looking delectable.

"Sir, your breakfast is ready."

Speaking calmly, Anya had already prepared washbasin and towel for Erwin, so he could wash his face whenever he needed to.

"Yes." Erwin nodded, and after freshening up, he sat down for his meal. The breakfast tasted as refined as that of a five-star hotel, attesting to Anya's extraordinary culinary skills.

But before finishing his meal, the doorbell suddenly rang outside the villa, causing Erwin to frown, wondering who could be looking for him at such a time.

"Anya, check who it is."

"Right away, young master ~" Anya nodded and quickly went to investigate, but soon returned to report to Erwin.

"Young Master, there is a beautiful woman outside who says she was appointed by Mr. Adam as your bodyguard."

"My bodyguard?" Erwin put down his chopsticks, this Mr. Adam seemed to be very considerate, even arranging a bodyguard for him.

"Let her in!"
