Eveline kept her comments to herself and turned to look outside when her phone rang.

Gabriel's expression changed from bright daylight to deep shadows as soon as he saw the caller's name.

Eveline noticed the sudden drop in his aura and quickly declined the call.

"Drop me at the bus stop near the college," she suddenly said.
