Hazel stared at the cover of the file for a while before she finally opened it. The small characters written in it almost made her eyes spin.
Goodness, where is her glasses?
She decided to ignore it and tried to read it.
'Party A: Dan Hooker. Party B: Hazel Hales.
Contract terms.
A. Both parties will be married for an indefinite period of time.
B. Their marriage will be kept confidential away from the public.
C. Party B will attend official meetings with Party A where her presence may be needed.
D. Party B must be available to satisfy Party A needs whenever, however and wherever he requests for it. '
At that she stopped reading. What did he mean by satisfy his needs? She stared at him.
"Any problem?" He asked when she looked at him.
"What does clause D mean?" She asked warily.
He stared at the file for a second. "Is it so had to understand English now or do you need me to bring a dictionary for you to understand?" He shot at her rudely.
But instead of getting offended by his words, she slowly eased her back on the chair.
"What do you take me for?"
"My wife!"
"Alright then. Since you are my husband, I will like to make adjustments." She said flatly.
"Carry on"
"Clause D...must apply to both Parties."
"What?"
"You must also be able to satisfy my needs."
"..." he was speechless.
"Whenever, however and wherever I request for it." She continued.
"You are quite demanding, aren't you?" His face turned cold.
What does she take him for? A toy?
"Have you forgotten so soon that you were the one that wanted to be my wife, my love?" He said coldly.
"An action which later benefited the both of us."
"And these your needs includes...?" He asked.
"None of your business. I didn't ask for yours, did I?" She shot back and returned to reading the contract silently.
Some minutes after, she looked back at him. Practically glared.
"What do you mean by Party B has a curfew by 9pm?"
