God-forsaken Demon

"What do you mean by Party B has a curfew by 9pm?"

"Is something wrong with that?" He asked calmly.

"Do I look like a kid to you?" She asked pissed.

She is a god forsaken demon. Why does she need a curfew.

What if she suddenly became hungry and need to feed at night? Does he want her to feed on him? She won't even be able to keep blood bags.

"The curfew, lift it or cancel it." She demanded.

"No."

"No?"

"I won't have my wife strolling out in the night"

"How soon are you to forgot that the only people who know about our marriage is in this room?" She almost rolled her eyes at him.

"Besides I need to work"

"Then you will work at Xin Group. Problem solved." He replied almost immediately as if he was waiting for her to talk about work.

"Sure. But, the curfew will be at eleven pm not nine."

"Moving on..." she started without letting him counter her.

They made some more adjustments and there were finally twelve clauses.

In less than 90 minutes, the original contract was ready and Dan signed it without hesitation and passed it to her.

She took it from him and took a pen looking at it for awhile thinking...hard.

If she signed this she will become the Secret Contracted wife of Dan Hooker or maybe hashtag the married demoness. Everything about her life would take a turn. Her freedom as a bachelorette... Just everything.

But on the up side, she was finally back together with him. Being with him is definitely worth losing her freedom.

"What? Are you now afraid to be called mine? To become Dan Hooker's wife? I personally suggest you back down now before it is too late." He taunted her daringly.

"You wish." She uttered almost chuckling and signed the papers.

"Now, where were we, Mrs. Hooker?" He asked.

"When will I start working at the Xin Group?" She asked.

"Tomorrow is the first working day of the week. You will resume as my personal secretary" he said. She simply nodded.

"You may leave now. My driver will take you to the residence" he said dismissively.

Who is this empty shell trying to dismiss? She is sure that if she opened him up, she won't find anything inside.

"Actually, I think we should go home together"

"Are you Willing to wait? I finish work quite late" he said skeptical.

"I am patient, sweet husband." She chuckled as she stood up from the chair and went over the the office couch to sit. "Maybe too patient for my own good" she said to herself lowly this time.
