Venira's words stuck with Tanya as she wondered what she meant when she spoke to her. She had so many questions for Venira but wondered if she could ask them. She sounded sad as she spoke. Tanya knew background-wise that Lady Venira came from an affluent noble family and she was described as a beautiful woman who had everyone's gaze on her.

And considering how she looked now it was no surprise that she was. Even now at her age, she was still beautiful. Tanya now began to feel that she grossly misunderstood her situation.

In the following days, Tanya continued to prepare for the ball which was only a few days away.

The investigation concerning the attacks was still underway. Master Yaren and Celeste were still being held in the dungeons awaiting trial, which was going to take place after the ball.

Tanya soon finished her preparations and now only waited for her family to arrive at the palace, who were scheduled to come the day before the ball.
