Phina took a seat and rested her head on Patrick's lap. Both of them stared down at the beach party going on below them.

The sun was shining down on the earth from a high point in the sky. The sea's gentle wind was able to lessen the sun's intense heat. Not that people sitting, standing, conversing, and dancing beneath it genuinely felt it. Some were even resting on the sand beneath them to tone their skin. Most white women were lying on the sand, wearing sunscreen, and enjoying the sensation of the sun on their skin.

It was packed with people, a beach party beneath their suite. Chinese and mixed, black and white. The crowd was mixed with the remainder of their friends. Some men wore simply shorts, while others wore shorts and a light shirt. The women were divided into two groups: most were in bikinis, and the others wore short floral gowns.
