"D..Damien Blacks?" I asked to be sure and he squinted his eyes and twitched his lips in a funny way nodding like an innocent child that I almost laughed
"Yes ma'am?" He stated more like a question
"You're Damien Blacks, top richest and short tempered billionaire in New York city?" I almost screamed, men! I'm screwed! This guy is the Damien Blacks Miami and Cora had always crushed on and I fucked... Oh gosh
"Seems like you've already done your research huh?" He arched a brow taking off his jacket, how could a CEO wear expensive clothes rather than a suit, I shook my head
"Sir, I'm sorry, I never knew you were Damien Blacks and I only heard of you, I've never seen you before, I apologize for anything that happened before and I promise it won't repeat itself again, but sincerely sir, I need this job and I won't even cross boundaries with you if you wish, but I need this job." I said with a sad expression, I need this job and I can't get fired on my first day of work, no industry or company will accept me knowing I was fired by the top million-dollars billionaire, and to top it all, this Industry is every worker's dream.
"Didnt say I'd fire you,you promised to make it up to me when we meet again for using me to your advantage, so whatever I request you will gladly comply, that's your words." He explained trying to appear innocent
"What now?" I asked with my innocent face,I don't know what to do now, how am I going to make it up to a billionaire? Surley it's not money based, cos he can buy whatever he wants in a blink of an eye, neither is he gonna ask for sex cuz he's too hot and handsome that he can get almost all the women in New York to his bed.
"I'll notify you tomorrow, you should just get dressed and I'll pick you up by 9am." He smirked and I just can't help but curse the day he was born, he's just too addictive.
"Okay, So.. Should I call Mrs Maurice to take me to my office?" I inquired
"Maurice, come take her to her office." He spoke through a red button as before, his eyes never leaving me and I could feel the rate at which my heart beat, he smirked.
"Before you go, I wanna ask you this question," he ran his red tongue round his lips, dampening it and then his eyes glued to mine, I can't seem to take my eyes off him, he's just so handsome and good looking, little wonder so many ladies were fighting over him, how did I get so lucky? He winked and stood in front of me, looking like a muscle built soldier going for battle
"Did you enjoy what we did that night? Was I good in bed? Cuz after that night..." His fingers moved to my shoulders, his gaze still intense. I bit my lips and I saw his Adam's apple moved and he squinted his eyes "don't do that, like I was saying, after that night... I can't bring myself to forget you." He smirked as I felt my heart rapidly beating like it will burst out of my chest soon. He chuckled and pecked my lips
"Boss I'm here." Maureen's voice vibrated from nowhere, I'm about leaving, I tried pushing him away but instead he sucked on my lips as my eyes widened, I struggled and this time he released me. I began to regret my decision when I looked up at those blue eyes that made me feel like they were made just for me.*What? Abby what are you thinking? Were are your etiquette and polished manners?* with that, I walked away blushing hard while he chuckled as the automatic glass door parted and I walked in.
"What took you so long?" Mrs Maurice asked
"Just going through some documents." I answered in my business like tone as she nodded. She took me to a beautiful black and white large office
"This, is the shelf, every important document is here, this is where you print out important files that are to be submitted to the boss, and when you type documents for the boss, use enough ink and make it bold, don't use black ink,use blue ink. Use this desk phone to pass information.the number of every worker is in the system, one more thing, whenever it's Lunch hours, leave for Lunch, I repeat leave for Lunch, else you might lose your job." She stated and I nodded with a smile
"Please follow this instructions Abby, I like you so much, I don't want you to lose your job due to petty mistakes, don't forget that here, workers don't interact with each other during working hours and you are not allowed to make personal phone calls." She smiled at me and left.
I love my new office, I swear, I will never violate any rule that will make me leave this industry, never. I arranged my stuffs and set to work. A group of records were sent to me, I knew how to sort out these data, it's not my first time, I set to work immediately and I was glad I get to finish before Lunch hours. I need to show them how qualified I am, I forwarded my work to the manager of our department and with a smile, I left for Lunch. Mrs Maurice already handed my door card to me. I slid the card on my office door and it clicked, it locked.
I walked to the restaurant of the 14th floor, here in Golden.T. Industry, every hall had their restaurants, I was surprised, why will the boss go this far to prevent workers speaking to one another during working hours. I walked to the restaurant and bought a plate of rice and beef sauce with long salad and fresh potatoe fries. I ate my Lunch,I could feel everyone's eyes on me which baffles me, why are they all staring at me?
