Abby's POV

I frowned, what is he keeping from me? Why don't he want to tell me anything?

"Who's Mariana?" I asked him as he pulled me roughly

"Why should you care? Don't mention her name again." He warned me with a serious tone.

I snickered and pulled my hand away from his grasp.

If he won't tell me, then there's no need wasting my time here.

"There's somewhere I should be now." I notified him

I glanced at my wristwatch, I should hurry up if I want to attend Renee's graduation party.

"Where?" He demanded like a protective husband

"Why should you care? Don't tell me you'll start monitoring my life." I said without looking back at him.

Not wanting to seat in one car with him, I decided to drive with Fred.

"Please hurry up, take me to Night hall street." I ordered without glancing at Fred.

I took off my heavy makeups and wore a simpler and natural one.

Then I packed my hair in a ponytail

"You're too much for a lady." Fred scoffed as the car came to life.

I ignored him and pulled out my phone, I already got 6 missed calls from Jane.

I dialed her number and after two rings, she answered

"Hello, Abby, are you okay?" She asked with concern

"Yeah, of course I'm okay Jane,you shouldn't bother yourself that much." I assured her

"Okay, I won't be home tonight, Felicia invited me to her birthday." Jane said

"Really?" I Smiled

I could vividly remember Felicia was the girl who was head over heals with Henry to the extent of doing some nasty things to frame me up due to jealousy.

Henry didn't even spare her any attention and I laughed myself out sometimes when she'll cry over henry and shamelessly tried to seduce him in public.

"You still in touch with that shameless bitch?" I sneered

"It was an invitation that's all." Jane explained

"Yeah, whatever, just be careful okay? and don't drink much bitch." I warned as she chortled

"You just gave me an idea.." She dreamingly informed

"Wait, what?" I was confused, did I really gave her a bad idea? Oh no..

"Bye..." She stated and hung up

"No, Jane.." I was about saying something when she hung up, I groaned.

Is she planning to do something stupid?

"Who's that? Your sis?" Fred asked

"It's none of your business anyway." I sniped

"Yeah, yeah, it's none of my business, you'll soon be my in law anyway." He added

"We're just contracted dummy, it's not a real thing." I stated

"Contracted?" He scoffed "Let's see how it goes."

For Christ's sake this guy is another annoying ass like his cousin but he's much of a talkative

"Here we are." He informed as he pulled up in front of a large gate.

"Yeah, thanks anyway." I alighted the car, not wanting much audience, I prefer to walk in by myself.

I entered the hall with my invitation card.

Men, this school is one big luxurious school.. Of course her parents are wealthy.

"Abby.." I heard Renee's chilly voice

I turned to the red haired beauty, she looked so beautiful

"Wow.. Renee.. You're so beautiful." I complimented

"Thanks." She obliged as I giggled

"You're dearly welcome." I said as we chuckled

"Come, sit here." She pulled me to a seat as I sat down

"I love your dress, it's so expensive." Renee said and I smiled, yeah it's an expensive dress from a lousy man.

"Yeah it is." I said.

Soon the party started. It was so boring that I dozed off.

Soon someone tapped my shoulder as I flickered my lashes and forced them open.

"Boring right? I didn't expect that the practice will be much better than the main event." Renee scoffed

"Sorry, I was so tired." I explained

"Yeah it's okay, I think we should be on our way, it's already late." She stated

"Let's take some pictures first." I suggested

"Really?" She beamed with smiles making me chuckle

"Of course." I replied

"Okay, this way." She said as she pulled me to the photography room.

We took so many beautiful pictures together and soon, we were on our way.

Renee dropped me off as I gave her a little peck on the cheek then I head for the stairs.

I sighed as I fell on the bed. I was so fucking tired and stressed up.

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up to the sun rays penetrating my window, I stretched and went through my bedside clock

"Shit!" It's already 10 minutes after 9...

How does time fly so fast?

I rushed to the bathroom and washed myself and my mouth, then I applied little ointment and no makeup at all.

I tied my hair in a messy bun and wore a short black dress that hung out my curves

"Too bad, I don't have Jane to pick my clothes." I wore a pink headband and grabbed my louis Vuitton bowling bag purse.

I wore my earrings and bracelets as I climbed down the stairs.

I walked towards the gate. I opened the gate and was shocked

"The fuck." I jolted back as I fumed

"What are you doing here? You want these people to see you here?" I angrily asked the annoying cousin of my boss

While he laughed

"Sorry, sorry, but I'm here under orders, I was asked to come pick you up and be informed it's now part of my routine to pick you up by 9am." Fred said

"Just EFF. You hear me? I don't need your rich family support." I informed him

Fred's eyes dropped from my breasts to my waist and a**

"Really? You're eye fucking me now?" I angrily retorted

"No, not like that..." He started but I just walked past him

"Please don't do this, Boss is gonna fire me if you don't come with me." He pleaded

"Like hell I care?" I stated.

"Please.." He pleaded

"I'm coming with you just because I'm late for work." I stubbornly said as I entered the Audi car.

"Thanks." He said

I scoffed and plugged in my earphones, I don't want to discuss with this lousy ass.
