(You betrayed me)
Damien's POV
I was restless, I can't place my mind on reality now, someone attempted to take my life on my way to the office this morning.
I saw the arrow, it almost pierced my heart if Fred hadn't been observant, I would had died.
"Boss, here he is boss." Nightmare entered along with Hound, one of my strongest and biggest assassin.
They pushed the man in black as he fell heavily on the floor, I wanted nothing more than to smash his skull but he'll worth more than a simple death.
"You're the one after my life? You're an STHA agent? I paid your fucking commander to protect me not to kill me." I rowed angrily as I threw him a hard punch and he grunted
"Tell me, where are the rest of you Mr?" I asked but he just panted in agony.
"Boss, we should see his face." Fred, also known as Sniper suggested.
"Take off his mask." I ordered
Markus took the mask off and I frowned with hatred, he's the dark, good looking Roberto Texas, he's an agent?
"Bane, go home and stop Abby from leaving the building." I commanded as Bane left.
Yes, Abby must have a hand in this she might be an agent as well.
"Is Abby an agent? You spoke to her in secret." I asked yet he kept mute.
"The king just asked you a question." Hound struck him a hard slap across his face yet he said nothing.
"Maybe i should kill Abby first." I stated
"Don't you dare touch Abby, she had nothing to do with this." He grunted out the words as he spat out blood
"Why? She's a spy and she's my wife." I frowned as I punched the desk, Abby was a spy all this while, she was an agent and I never knew. I felt worst than I should have felt and I promised to make her suffer.
"Abby didn't asked me to kill you, I'm only trying to accomplish a mission that she wasn't able to accomplish." He informed
"She was sent to kill me?" I asked but he kept mute
Hound punched him continuously across the face, he spat blood, his face was covered in blood
"Was she sent to kill me?" I thundered
"Yes, yes, recently, she was sent to kill you recently but she refused." He grumbled
"How are you sure she refused?" I asked.
For a reason, I wanted to believe that Abby would never harm me, I wanted to believe that she refused to kill me because she cared about me.
"Believe me if she wanted to kill you, not even 20 of your strongest men could stop her." He spat
"Who is she? What is she?" I asked as I drew closer to him
He quickly drew out my pocket knife and wanted to pierce his chest but Markus was quick enough to stop him as they
Pounced on him, they threw continuous punches at him.
"Take him to the dungeon. I'll be back." I was so angry, I felt the urge to kill someone.
Fred placed his hand on my shoulder with a frown
"Do take it easy on her brother, you still owe her your life." He whispered
"I do whatever I want with anyone that betrays me." I said.
Abby's POV
I'm already tired of staying in this cell, fuck it, he can do whatever he wants with me but not luck me up for eternity.
The door opened, Fred walked in with a tray of food but all I want at this moment is to see Damien.
"You hungry?" Fred asked as he placed the tray before me.
"Why are you nice to me?" I asked
"Because you're not a betrayer." Fred answered with a smile
"Oh please spare me that, everyone thinks I'm a betrayer so your opinion doesn't count." I said
"And you are my sister by law." He added as I ate a forkful of steak and drank a glass of milk
"Do you think he'll ever forgive me?" I asked almost in a whisper
"You do want his forgiveness, you are in love with him Abby." He stated
"What? No way, he's annoying." I scoffed
"But you care about him, it's life for you, we fall for people we don't want to fall for." He commented with a smirk
"It has nothing to do with any of that Fred." I blushed
"I guess it does, should be on my way now."
"Um.. Fred, tell him I want to see him." I said
Fred nodded as he left. I then laid down, I honestly missed him, could it be that Fred was right? Could it be love? No, it can't be, it's just my imagination.
I was awoken by the creaking sound of the door, I battered my lashes to get a clear view. It was Gina and two guards
"Ma'am, I'm here to have you dressed up." Gina informed
"Why?" I asked her
"The Boss asked for you, he's in the bedroom." Gina whispered.
"Really? He asked to see me?" For a moment I was lost in curiosity, then the excitement kicked in, he doesn't hate me that much.
Gina helped me get dressed in a short night gown as I wore a night robe and let my hair cascade my shoulders
All I want at this moment is to gain Damien's trust, I have let him know that I never wanted to hurt him. I want him to believe me.
I was taken to the bedroom. I knocked on the door as it parted open. For a moment my heart beat increased, my eyes landed on the empty bed and then the door closed behind me.
"I'm sorry Damien, I don't know how to explain it to you." I pleaded though I can't see him, the bedroom light was off the only source of light here is the moonlight penetrating the room through the windows.
"You deceived me, you lied to me. You made me see an angel not the demon." He bickered in his deep hoarse tone
