30 crystals

Half an hour after lunch the girl started shivering because she was scared to go in the direction they were walking in. She noticed that the rest didn't have any issues with it.

Just a moment later a bunny jumped towards them and she ducked towards the ground missing Aron taking out his sword and killing the bunny in one go.

Aron: No crystal again. How much xp before you all turn level 5?

Kim: Just four more bunny's and we will be level 5. I don't think getting a level is the problem it's more the crystals. Also the girl is slowing us down a bit, I will try so something about that.

Kim walking towards the girl and giving her a heal again to see what she would do if she would extend her hand in the hope she would take it so they could walk hand in hand until it was time to battle for real. So far it had been a boring hunt except finding the girl.

The girl was surprised that she got the warm feeling again, then she saw one of the girls extending her hand towards her. She took the hand out of curiosity and noticed a smile of the girl she took the hand from. That girl pointed towards herself and said slowly Kim.

Kim did that several times waiting to see if the girl would recognise this as a simple sign for communication. After a few times the girl pointed at herself and said Chloe. Kim repeated the name and smiled.

Aron already killing the second bunny at this point noticed that there were more bunny's in this area so he kept killing everything he saw giving his team the job to collect crystals.

Kim noticed that Aron was killing to get more crystals and adjusted her grip of the hand of Chloe. Chloe had no choice but to follow now. Kim took out the crystal of the bunny and walked towards the next keeping the rest of the corpse as it was killed.

Chloe was surprised because bunny meat was really good to eat and hard to get. After she saw the third dead bunny she picked up the dead bunny and tightened the legs together.

Kim was surprised and took Chloe back to the second corpse and pointed at it. Chloe now tightening the bunny's leg's felt the aura around Kim change and was scared again. Kim just took Chloe hand after she was done and took her towards the next corpses.

An hour later both Kim and Chloe had several dead bunny's around their shoulders and the crystal count was at 29. Aron not knowing how many crystals they had and left without any mana went to Kim.

Aron: Kim why are you carrying all the bunny's? I can put them in my spatial bag if you want. Hmm, before I forget how many crystals do we need? We still have an hour before we need to move back.

Kim: We have 29 crystals, yes take my bunny's Chloe is picking them up as well perhaps take those as well?

Aron: I'm not sure perhaps she will get scared again. I will put all bunny's that we kill now in my spatial bag so we can keep a fast pace.

Back in the settlement everything went as planned. They completed almost 1 km of wall, a gate and 8 observation posts.

The quest was already completed, only the woodworkers and builders kept going because they noticed that they still got xp with expending the wall and adding extra observation posts.

Cutting down trees was faster now, only problem was transportation of the trees towards were they were building until one of the woodworkers looked at his shop and saw blueprints for a wooden cart available for free.

He then asked Jessica if it was worth it yo make a quest for making a certain amount of carts sadly the rewards were to low to make a quest but asked him if he could make a few to see if he got xp that way instead of keep building walls and observation posts.

When the first cart was completed the building speed went up again and this was all before lunch.

After lunch some of the non builders started gathering fruits from the nearby forest with yesterday's hunting team following for protection because no one went deep in the forest yet. They didn't encounter any animals or other people or anything.

Jack, Kiara and Yue were missing the thrill of the hunt they had yesterday. Not sure if they could join tomorrow's hunting session they made sure to protect the gathering party so they had that experience as well.

The farmers gathering fruits started thinking if they could make a farm of the fruit trees they saw. Hopefully they could because only eating meat and fruits found in the forest was not the best to support humans. Of course they has emergency rations in the spacecraft but they didn't wat to eat that flavourless food.

In the settlement it's self the tailor's started preparing the mammoths hides for rugs. The hides of the mammoths seemed to be to stiff for comfortable clothes. They would ask next day's hunting team to gather some other animal fur so they could start making clothing.

No matter working together or apart the settlement was taking form. They just needed more people to make it a small town. Perhaps then they could start relaxing as well.

Two hours before dinner everyone slowed down and were waiting for the hunting team to come back. Yesterday was a good hunt and they wondered if today was as good.

Aron's team finally got 30 crystals and was going home at a steady speed. Chloe was wondering why she of all people found a group of hunters that bested their elders by miles. Kim noticed Chloe thinking and poked her to keep up.

Aron's pace was definitely to much for Chloe after just 30 minutes she couldn't run anymore. Aron now walking towards her asked Kim if she could jump on his back and show what he was planning to do with Chloe. After a few times jumping of Kim on Aron's back and Aron running for a few meters Chloe got the point and was embarrassed.

Still she did jump on his back and Aron set the pace faster than before. Everyone in his team now had a proper stamina workout. After getting closer to the settlement Aron saw the observation posts and smiled.

Chloe was shocked again what she saw, she was used to live in a cave not wooden structures.
