Aron was already happy with his stats, but if he was the only one with higher stats dungeons would still be hard to complete.

Aron: This isn't bad at all, Jack your always willing to try new things or not? If so I would just start consuming 1 or 2 heart crystals, see if you get a system message about upgrading.

Jack: Sure I will do it, probably with my luck I won't get any.

Jack tossed two heart crystals in his mouth and started to smile, Aron did now already know that he could upgrade. This was good news, now he needed to find out who could if not everyone. It would be a good to try out as many people as they could.

Aron: Who wants to go next? Jack obviously can upgrade so I hope you all can upgrade as well.

Yue and Chloe both did eat a heart crystal and started to smile.

Aron: So both of you can upgrade ad well?

Yue: Yes I can, I only need 500 crystals and with the crystals from the dungeon that is easily to complete.

Chloe: I only need 100 crystals.

Aron: That is both a different amount that I needed to use, I wonder what the difference is.

They all tried it the only one unable to do so was Jessica, she did became sad after that and went to bed. Daisy had a good idea to cheer Jessica up and that was to ride the horses they captured and started to training in the last few weeks. The next morning they took Jessica towards the horses and let her select her horse first, the horses still not that good with humans needed more training.

That is what they would give them today, specially with the seats made by the tailors. First the went around the town with the horses to see how the react, after that it was the south side of the town that was explored the most but only on foot. The horses did go faster then they could walk so looking around for animals and humans etcetera. With the newfound speed they covered the distance that would take them 4 hours on food

It went so fast that Jessica did make a suggestion to look around the town for potential threats, everyone agreed so the went an hour horse ride distance from town. They found no problem animals around except the goats, what the did find were 6 level 1 dungeons that didn't have a dungeon break yet. So the decided the would clear them in the next week and take the crystal, no other dungeons were found.

They knew the general location of the goat dungeon but it was to early for an attempt, that is what Jessica thought. She wanted a few more people with upgraded systems before actively killing goats and clearing their dungeon,although she couldn't upgrade her system she wasn't as desperate as yesterday.

Jessica: Let's head back to town and prepare to get rid of those pesky level 1 dungeons.

Aron: OK, but let's enjoy the ride. It's actually nice to ride a horse outside.

They did ride until the afternoon enjoying the scenery, they planned to do more scouting trips like this. To have a more efficient transport towards the dungeons they would need more horses, having a cart pulled by a horse was not an option because of the uneven ground.

Daisy on the other hand had an different idea and went to the training dummies with her horse and took out her bow and started shooting arrows at it. Aron seeing this joint the fun, it took them 15 minutes to land the first hit from the back of the horses in canter. After another hour of practice they could hit targets pretty well when the horses where in full gallop.

Now Aron was sure they needed more horses for some hunters mages and support classes, he didn't think it would be something for a guard but Jack surprised him already more than once before. Daisy and Aron went to Diego to see if he did know other places to trap horses, if he knew of any that would be helpful for in the future.

Aron: Diego, how is going so far? Already adjusting to our way of living?

Diego: Life is good, we don't have anyone with an empty stomach or getting ill without any reason.

Daisy: That is good to hear, perhaps you're willing to help make life even easier for everyone. We are looking for more horses do you know if there are any good spots to hunt other than the one you showed us?

Diego: Sadly I don't, but I can ask the elders from my old cave if they know of any. Trued be told I want to convince some other to join you.

Aron: We will plan a visit after we dealt with the goats, we don't need more horses before then. This will also gives us time to build a horse riding school to train both horse and human or dwarf to ride together.

With that they went separate ways, Aron going to his sister and Yue to see if they needed help with the now small town. Both Yue and Jessica did discuss how to prepare for potential next citizens, they had some pregnant women and already a few toddlers. Would they build a school system like on earth or would they create a new one, it's not like they did go to high school or university.

Aron joining the discussion and his opinion was just a preschool and a school until the children turn 12, after that it would be their choice of what to do. To have other studies would be something for later on, they didn't have the population or the possible teachers for that. Jessica wanted to have a school until they turned 16, this was mostly because she mist prom with nice dresses.

Yue who grew up home schooled was thinking the same as Aron, only she wanted to have the possibility to do home schooling as well. In the end they would need to ask other opinions as well, the kids born today could grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

Later that day Jessica, Yue and Aron did tell about the discussion and asked them to think about it and let them know their opinion. The next day all had different opinions, so they decided they would start with just preschool and a school. After that they went to the first level 1 dungeon that was an hour walk away from them. Clearing it with 50 team members was to overpowered at the moment with Aron as level 30 and most between the level 25 and level 28, the lowest members where level 20. They cleared the full dungeon in 2 hours leaving time to move walk towards the next one and perhaps clear it as well.

The second dungeon was as easy as the one they did before, they only saw something strange. A bunch of people were locked up un cages all over the dungeon, of course they got rescued and they took them towards town on carts that Aron took with him in his spatial bag. They rescued a total of 150 people between the 10 and 25 years old, none of those people did talk so they set up tens for them and give them some food. In the evening and night they had several people watching over them, nothing happened.

The next morning Yue went to check on the newcomers and was hoping they would start to talk. Sadly they didn't talk at all, Yue started to get worried so she called Chloe and Diego to see if they could help them. Sadly this didn't help, Yue informed Aron and Jessica of the situation and told them they should go hunting the rest of the dungeons before they had a dungeon break.

The next two days nothing much happened with the refugees, even Jim in his serious mode with Mona and the old lady didn't get them to talk. The next day Aron and his team would go for the last dungeon. Jack who was feeling angry about them eating food without them doing anything in return, did give them food the morning of the last dungeon and shouted.

Jack: IF NO ONE IS SPEAKING TO ANY OF US WE ARE GOING TO KICK YOU OUT WITHOUT ANYTHING!

Yue hearing this didn't dare to see the refugees after Jack's outburst, it was understandable that they had it rough but she agreed it was no need to not communicate with the people from town or the other refugees. It looked like they couldn't speak or hear anything, Yue found Jack's plan to send them out without anything a bit harsh but understandable considering they had more people to feed.

Later that day they started the last dungeon and it was a bunny dungeon again, some had good memories and some had bad memories about the bunny's. Worst part was they worked together with goblins that no one has seen since, Jessica was hopefull that they could find more people in dungeons with goblins. Her hope was answered with a total of 231 people of all ages, these people started to thank them from getting them out of prison or forced labour.

Al of the saved people had respect for the 50 team members of Aron's team. They did ask questions and Aron and Jack answering every single one, Aron also telling them they could achieve the same if they helped them. Most teenagers did jump in excitement of the possibility to do what Aron and his team could do. The older people a bit disappointed because they knew their bodies were not as strong as they were before, Jessica seeing this offered them a solution. It's not only about fighting and killing animals for food, it's also building houses, cooking, clothes and more.

When they arrived at Yama Shi the accepted refugees did drop their mouths. The city wall alone was something they hadn't seen before and the observation posts and the houses made it look like a middle age European town. It was only missing a church, castle and the stone roads. The roads was something they would work on with a few lower level builders to get quick experience, the rest of the middle age buildings probably would be build if there was a need for them.

Yue, Jessica, Aron and Jack guided them towards their temporary sleeping quarters for obvious reasons close to the other refugees. They told them they would be transferred to permanent buildings as long as it was their plan to help out the town, but before that they would just need to listen to some ground rules including the new payment system that was underway.
