Ch-175 the house of danger

In the earth where ah ming is currently

As Violet Snow and Leona Lykos suddenly opened their eyes, their vision was swallowed by an endless expanse of darkness. Cold and suffocating, the void seemed to stretch infinitely in all directions. Their breaths quickened as they stood up, glancing at each other with narrowed eyes.

Suddenly, a small flicker of crimson light cut through the blackness. A fireball bloomed out of nowhere, casting a faint, flickering glow over their pale faces. A soft, melodic giggle echoed through the void—a voice both cold and unnervingly cute.

"How's your sleep at your new house, sweet naps?"

The voice sent a chill down their spines. Violet's sharp, blood-red eyes darted toward the source, while Leona bared her fangs instinctively.

From the shadowed depths, a figure emerged. A girl, no older than her late teens, materialized effortlessly from the darkness. Dressed in a sleek black dress with crimson accents, her silver hair flowed like liquid moonlight. Her mismatched golden and crimson eyes glowed faintly in the dim firelight.

It was her.

The same girl who had summoned the knight with a mere snap of her fingers. The girl who radiated an overwhelming, suffocating pressure despite her calm demeanor.

She sat cross-legged in midair, resting her chin on her hand with a lazy, almost amused smile. A halo of black flames circled lazily above her head. Her gaze sharpened as she studied the two of them with the cool detachment of a predator inspecting its prey.

Leona's claws instinctively extended as Violet's vampiric aura surged. "You…" Violet hissed.

The girl's smile widened as the fireball in her hand flickered dangerously.

"Careful," the girl purred, tilting her head. "It would be a shame if you two went back to sleep… permanently."

Violet's fists tightened as Leona crouched slightly, prepared to lunge. The girl sighed softly, her golden-red eyes shimmering.

"Relax." The fireball disappeared with a snap of her fingers. "You're not going to die… yet."

Her gaze sharpened. "But first… you're going to tell me why you're so weak."

The oppressive darkness deepened as the girl's cold smile sharpened. "And then… we'll see if you're worth keeping alive."

Ah Ming leaned back slightly, her hand resting against her chin as she smiled lazily. The black tendrils at her feet coiled and hissed like serpents returning to their master.

"My dear husband," Ah Ming purred. "They're so weak… but they might have potential."

Raghav's crimson eyes sharpened. His gaze darkened as he regarded Violet and Leona. His expression remained cold, unreadable.

Violet's eyes widened as she stared at the man before her. Her lips parted slightly, her voice trembling.

"Who… who is he?" she whispered, her breath hitching as an unfamiliar chill crawled down her spine.

Leona's golden eyes narrowed, her instincts screaming that the man standing before them was dangerous—far more dangerous than anyone they had ever encountered.

"That presence…" Leona's claws twitched as her gaze remained locked on him. "He's not normal."

Ah Ming's smile deepened as she glanced toward Raghav.

"Oh? You mean to tell me you've never heard of my husband?" Ah Ming's eyes flashed with amusement. "How… sheltered."

"His name is Raghav Ye King." Ah Ming's voice was soft, yet it cut through the oppressive silence like a blade. "And if you survive tonight… you'll understand why that name matters."

Raghav's crimson eyes glowed faintly. A thin, dangerous smile curved his lips.

"Shall we begin?"
