With this strange glitch, Axel becomes an unstoppable force. However, Axel, preferring to operate under the radar, opts to conceal his new abilities, not one for unwanted attention.

Yet, luck proves to be against him as the city of Gravif and its lurking demons have alternative plans.

The Shadow Thief

Using Shadow Step, I reached the street below and readied my dagger. I wasn't going to kill anyone, of course. I just had to get rid of this dirty building for Aera and complete the quest I had just gotten.

With my neck gaiter still on, I watched as the guards inside rushed outside. They lined up in single file, their swords drawn, eyes ready to fight. Normally, before getting Mia's heart, I'd have just booked it a long time ago. However, this time was different. I felt like I could take them on with ease.

"Stop, thief!" one of them yelled. "Show us your face!"

I created multiple rifts in the air. Then, at least 150 tentacles lashed out from within these rifts, and a powerful roar shook the earth. The roar was so loud that windows shattered, and street animals bolted back to their hiding places.
