The darkness once again made Gravif its grave. Not a single star adorned the sky, and the wind was picking up. There was a light rain, the kind that makes you want to fall asleep while listening to its gentle patter.
Homeless people were retreating to their back alleys as curfew approached. A few stray dogs lingered, searching for food and barking at random shadows.
I knelt, resting my elbow on my other knee. My neck gaiter was up, and I was clad in black light armor. I decided to rely on my Upgraded Dagger skill this time, leaving my actual dagger behind.

The villa had extra protection. Eleven guards were stationed at the front entrance, ready to spring into action at the slightest disturbance. Most appeared to be higher-level spell casters, their robes glowing faintly purple in the night.
Flocks of crows perched on the villa's window sills, their red eyes seeming to follow my every move.
