WHY NOT

We left the shop with the dresses and slipped into the maze of alleyways. The road to my house was silent; neither of us spoke, our heads tilted toward the ground as we walked quickly. The strange interaction we had was too much for me to handle, and I was pretty sure Haruko felt the same way. I'd never been this close to a woman, let alone seen one in just her panties and bra. It was... some experience. The kind that I wouldn't mind experiencing again.

Reaching my home, I peeked through the window to see if Sura was still asleep. Seeing that she was, I let out a big sigh and clapped my hands together, trying to find the right words.

"Well – thank you for coming with me, Haruko," I said, finally breaking the silence. "Appreciate it."

"N-no problem," she replied, trying her best to sound nonchalant. "Like I said, come by the Rusty Chalice. Your gold is ready, just talk to Molly."
