"Alexander, what's the point of all this? Are you trying to use suicide to force me back to your side? Do you have any idea what you've done? Your mother and sister hate me even more now! They wish I were dead! Why would you even try to take your own life? Do you think I didn't suffer when you left me? I was in agony, too—but I never thought of doing something like that. I'm not selfish like you!"
