Catastrophe

The cold, metallic clang of the alarm echoed through the headquarters, a stark contrast to the early morning serenity. Ava's fingers danced across the control panel, her eyes narrowing as she surveyed the flood of red alerts flashing on the screen.

"Ava, the Zurich facility is under attack!" Liam's voice crackled over the intercom, urgency lacing every word. "We're also getting reports from Hong Kong and Sao Paulo. It's coordinated."

Ava's heart pounded, the weight of the situation sinking in. She had anticipated trouble, but not on this scale. "Liam, gather everyone in the war room. We need a strategy, and fast."

Within minutes, the war room buzzed with tension. Monitors displayed live feeds from around the globe, each screen showing a different crisis. Fires raged, buildings crumbled, and Ava's allies fought valiantly but were clearly outnumbered.

"We're spread too thin," Ava muttered, her mind racing. "We can't possibly manage all of these at once."
