Chapter 1

North Sea.

Donzik Island.

This is not a prosperous island. It is divided into two sides: the chaotic area and the security area.

The chaotic zone, disorderly and tumultuous, is a haven for pirates, villains, bounty hunters, and merchants. Here, might makes right; whoever is strong holds the power. Among them, three underground forces dominate, ruling everything in the chaotic zone.

As for the security area, it is protected by a naval branch base, and criminal gangs dare not easily set foot there.

At this time, in the chaotic zone, a battle that would sweep across the entire area was slowly unfolding.

A figure in a black and white mask and simple white clothes walked forward slowly, a blade dripping with blood in hand. Behind them lay hundreds of corpses on the ground. On close inspection, one would see that each body had only one wound: either the throat or heart was pierced, or they were split in half, blood staining the ground red.

Ahead, hundreds of people had gathered. Though numerous and powerful, they wore expressions of horror. They watched the masked man approach as if he were the Grim Reaper himself.

As the masked man stepped forward, they stepped back, in perfect unison, until there was nowhere left to retreat.

"You, who are you? Why did you attack our Evil Wolf Gang?"

A man with a wound running from shoulder to abdomen, his flesh torn and blood flowing, roared at the masked man. His voice trembled, betraying his inner panic.

The Evil Wolf Gang was one of the three underground forces ruling the chaotic zone. The speaker was their leader, Enfit the Wolf Head. But now, the power that once dominated the island was being forced into a corner by a single person.

"If it's the Evil Wolf Gang, then you're right. You're the ones I'm looking for."

Behind the mask, Ron smiled coldly, looking at the people in front of him. His voice, distorted by the mask, sounded deep and ominous.

"Why? We didn't offend you! If you want territory, just say so, and we can all rely on you!"

Enfit yelled anxiously, fear on his face, but with a hint of cunning in his eyes. Like a cornered beast, he was desperate to deliver a final, fatal blow. However, this look was obvious to Ron, like a beacon in the dark.

"Aren't you offended?" Ron's smile turned cold, like a reaper's threat.

The image of a little girl lying miserably on a hospital bed flashed in Ron's mind.

Ron, formerly from Blue Star, had mysteriously arrived in the world of One Piece, inhabiting the body of a refugee. He was rescued by island residents and settled there. However, just yesterday, a resident who had helped him, a little girl, was nearly beaten to death by the Evil Wolf Gang. Though she survived, she was left dying, her cute face scarred, and her right arm severed. For her, whose survival depended on her hands, this was devastating. Her severed arm, along with her hope, was destroyed—all because she glanced at an Evil Wolf member, a look taken as provocation.

The little girl's plight enraged Ron, prompting him to take up his sword in vengeance.

"And you want to join me? Garbage like you isn't worthy!" Ron's eyes were cold as he walked slowly, flicking the blood off his blade, making it gleam sharp and cold once more.

As he approached within ten meters of Enfit, Enfit suddenly grinned fiercely, "Take refuge with you? Don't even think about it! Go to hell!" He pressed a button in his hand.

With a bang, a violent explosion erupted in front of them, flames sweeping the area, black smoke billowing.

At that moment, all the Evil Wolf members grinned wildly. "Haha, that damned guy dared to be so arrogant here? Now he's dead!"

They had truly been scared, terrified of being killed by one sword-wielding man. Except for the strongest Enfit, no one could withstand Ron's sword. Even Enfit had paid dearly, a deep wound marring his body.

"It's time to die!" Enfit's face was hideous in the firelight.

"Unfortunately, no."

A deep voice cut through the smoke, and a crescent-shaped slash emerged, cleaving dozens of Evil Wolf members in half, blood spraying everywhere.

The survivors watched in horror as a demon-like figure emerged from the smoke, dragging his sword, sparks flying. It was Ron, unscathed by the explosion.

"It's... a monster!" Fear was etched on their faces. Who was this man? Why couldn't a bomb hurt him?

"Alright, playtime's over. I'll send you to the afterlife," Ron said indifferently, extending his left hand, a ball of lightning forming in his palm.

"Sixty-three Thunder Roar Cannon!" He unleashed a white beam into the crowd.

With a loud bang, the thunder column exploded, lightning and a massive explosion scattering bodies, some shattered, some missing limbs, in a bloody scene.

Enfit, the main target, was obliterated.

"He's a Devil Fruit user! Run! We can't beat him!"

The survivors were desperate, fleeing for their lives, their minds filled only with escape.

"Can you run?" Ron asked coldly, pointing. "Bai Lei!"

White lightning shot from his fingers, piercing the fleeing people's heads.

Thus, one of the three major underground forces, the Evil Wolf Gang, was annihilated.
