The Ring of Return

As soon as Grey activated his Name Artifact, the arena fell into an eerie silence for a moment, immediately followed by the Ring of Return's unleashed power.

A triumphant smile spread across Gray's lips.

The Ring of Return operated on a simple, destructive principle: it gathered all the energy expended nearby, compressed it, and released it in a single, powerful explosion.

Each spent particle of energy, mana or aura that was used up and dissolved into the surrounding space was returned to its original state under the influence of the Ring. Then, the collected energy was compressed to an unimaginable degree.

The ring didn't care about the source or type of energy – any consumption within its range became fuel for its explosive potential. The longer the battle lasted, the more powerful the weapon became.

Naturally, the owner of the Ring was protected from this raging energy.
