"Now let's get down to the real business."

Hearing the seriousness in his voice, her gaze changed as well. She still hadn't taken her hands off the cakes, though.

"Straight to the point. Do you know where to get the Fragments of a Ruined World?"

"Fragments of a Ruined World...? Why do you even need them?"

Their gazes met, but Rain remained silent, not intending to answer her. After a couple minutes of silent confrontation, she answered.

"If you mean those Things that leave behind Ruined Worlds, in centuries of wandering the vastness of outer space, I've only seen a few of them."

She was silent for a moment, as if remembering those times.

"They were shiny and sparkly, so I took a couple pieces for myself. By the way, I don't have them with me, they were left in my Starless Sky Domain in outer space like my other treasures."

"So if we go there now..."

"That's impossible."

Her firm and unequivocal answer followed.
