Fan Interaction

"I've seen it, I've seen it," Shen Tong responded quickly. She believed Su Xiao was already reading it. His ability to comprehend was incredibly strong, and he learned everything quickly.

"That's good! I don't want to spend several days shooting a few minutes of advertisement," the lanky director said haughtily. "You know I'm paying by the minute for this place. I hope we can work well together."

"Of course! How could we possibly cause trouble for the director?" Shen Tong replied with a sweet smile.

Soon after, Su Xiao emerged with his makeup done. Shen Tong thought it didn't really matter whether he wore makeup or not, as his face was already quite clean. The makeup merely enhanced his features, making him appear more three-dimensional.

"Today's ad goes like this," the director explained. "Su Xiao, you'll take this pack of gum, pull out a piece, chew it a few times, then quickly jump into the water..."

Shen Tong observed Su Xiao listening attentively to the director. Although his expression remained aloof, like that of a prince, she noticed that he always strived to do his best in any job he took on. Sometimes his personality made it difficult for him to break through certain roles and advertisements, or venture into movies or TV dramas. However, Shen Tong believed that given time, he would surely be sculpted into a fine jade.

While Shen Tong was lost in thought, Su Xiao had already begun undressing nearby. He approached Shen Tong swiftly, his upper body bare. His lean muscles were perfectly proportioned, making him look neither too muscular nor too thin. His body proportions were excellent, with long arms and legs. Combined with his handsome face, he could easily captivate thousands of young girls.

By the time Shen Tong snapped back to reality, Su Xiao was already in front of her. He said arrogantly, "Milk tea."

Looking at the model-worthy physique before her, Shen Tong's inner voice was screaming. This was the first time she had seen Su Xiao shirtless, and she desperately wanted to take a photo as a memento!

So, Shen Tong took out her phone and asked, "Su Xiao, don't you want to give your fans a little treat?"

"What?" Su Xiao looked at Shen Tong, puzzled.

"Strike a cool pose, and we'll post it on Weibo. The fans will go crazy!" Shen Tong suggested calmly, though internally she was praying Su Xiao would agree.

Su Xiao frowned slightly, then refused without hesitation: "No."

Shen Tong's face fell. She had thought he might have changed a bit, but his attitude remained the same. Well, she resigned herself to her fate. She was destined to just buy milk tea, nothing more than an errand girl.

As she walked out of the set, she was surprised to find those girls still waiting. Curiously, she approached them with a friendly smile. "Hello!"

The girls quickly gathered around her, excitedly asking, "Hello, big sister! Are you Su Xiao's manager?"

"Yes, I am. What's up?" Shen Tong replied cheerfully.

"Ah, big sister! Can you tell us something about him?" the girls squealed in unison.

"Actually, I have a question for you. How did you know Su Xiao would be shooting an ad here?" This was the one thing Shen Tong couldn't figure out.

One of the girls, blushing, explained, "I live nearby, and I heard from the swimming pool staff that Su Xiao was coming... But we didn't know the exact date, so we've been waiting here every day. We can't believe we actually got to see him!"

Shen Tong smiled warmly. "Let's walk and talk. He's indeed quite aloof and doesn't care much for the rules of the entertainment industry. He's very direct about his likes and dislikes, which I suppose you could call honesty. That's why he hasn't become famous yet. But let me tell you a secret - he loves milk tea! Haha, isn't that strange? A guy who loves milk tea..."

"I love milk tea too!" one girl exclaimed excitedly. "What else does he like?"

Shen Tong thought for a moment. "He's not particularly picky about food, but let me tell you about an embarrassing incident. Once, when we went to eat lamb skewers..."

As they walked, Shen Tong shared some of Su Xiao's quirks with the girls - quirks that were both flaws and endearing traits. These fans were crucial in shaping Su Xiao's public image: the real him, aloof yet kind-hearted. He wasn't as unapproachable as the public perceived him to be. Laughter occasionally erupted from the group, drawing the attention of passersby.

Shen Tong treated each of them to a cup of milk tea. It was all part of building Su Xiao's image, a necessary investment. Besides, these young girls were quite adorable.

As Shen Tong prepared to return to the set, the girls bid her farewell reluctantly.

"Big sister, could you help me get an autograph?" one girl bravely asked.

"Me too, me too!" another chimed in excitedly.

Looking at their hopeful eyes, Shen Tong couldn't bear to disappoint them. She smiled brightly, "Well, if I pester him enough, he'll agree! Don't worry! He might act tough, but he'll give in if I keep at it!"

The girls laughed happily. "Thank you, big sister!"

When Shen Tong returned with the milk tea, Su Xiao was already impatient. He snatched his drink from her hand.

"I just went to drum up some fan support for you," Shen Tong explained. "Those girls outside, they were asking for your autograph. They're all still students..."

"Where do I sign?" Su Xiao interrupted, getting straight to the point.

"Oh," Shen Tong exclaimed, surprised. She pulled out the prepared paper and pen. "Here, sign four sheets."

Su Xiao took the paper and pen and started signing. Shen Tong didn't dare look at what he was writing until he handed them back to her.

"Don't look," Su Xiao glared at her, then left to shoot the advertisement.

Shen Tong was left behind, dying of curiosity but forbidden to look.

When she gave the signed papers to the girls, they were ecstatic. "Thank you, big sister! Thank you so much!"

Looking at the signatures, they squealed, "Ah! We're so happy! Su Xiao told us to study hard and not let our grades slip!"

Shen Tong entered the shooting area with a smile on her face. It seemed Su Xiao was slowly changing after all.

By the time they returned to the company, Shen Tong felt like she was falling apart. The director had her running errands non-stop, and Su Xiao was even more exhausted, having swum from 4 PM to 8 PM. The director's temperament matched his demeanor - difficult to deal with and strict. Any slight mistake meant starting over. Fortunately, the director was finally satisfied just before Su Xiao's mood turned sour.

Chen Xiaoyong had already returned to the company and was leisurely sipping coffee. Hearing Shen Tong complain about the director, she couldn't help but scoff, "I used to nail this director's ads in one take." Her expression was smug, like a victorious rooster, but her gaze kept drifting towards Su Xiao, who was sitting with his eyes closed, seemingly indifferent. Wanting to attract Su Xiao's attention, she bit her lip hard and said bitterly, "I've dealt with even stricter directors than this one."

But Su Xiao remained unmoved, still resting with his eyes closed as if asleep.

Chen Xiaoyong, unwilling to give up, spoke again: "For a celebrity, fans are like a symbol - a symbol of whether you're famous or not."

Shen Tong felt embarrassed. Come on, Mr. Big Star, just give her a small reaction and make it stop.

After several failed attempts to elicit a response from Su Xiao, Chen Xiaoyong glared at him and pulled out her phone to browse Weibo.

"Wow, Su Xiao, look! My number of fans has increased again."

"Someone's asking about our relationship! Should I answer?"

"Your Weibo is so quiet, hardly any fans at all!"

"Noisy," Su Xiao finally spoke, his voice cold and his lips barely moving.

Chen Xiaoyong's smile froze on her face, her mouth still open, her expression awkward. She angrily continued scrolling through Weibo alone.

But as she scrolled, she couldn't help but keep glancing at Su Xiao. His perfect face and aloof personality were irresistibly attractive to her. She had fallen for this unique man from their first meeting. She longed for him, for his attention, his love, his everything. But from their first encounter until now, through rumors and press conferences, he had always treated her with indifference. She couldn't accept it. Thinking about this, Chen Xiaoyong's eyes reddened, her delicate face twisted slightly.

Chen Xiaoyong's help and the rumors she spread were, of course, motivated by self-interest. She liked him and hoped to gain his attention, his gratitude, and ultimately, his affection. But he had repeatedly refused her help, showing no desire for fame. Whether in terms of fans, job offers, or status, Su Xiao was an artist who didn't even match up to her, which should have deterred her. Yet her gaze always unconsciously followed this man. She felt as if she were under a spell, unable to control herself.

The more Chen Xiaoyong thought about it, the more frenzied her gaze became. She was determined to have this man, no matter what methods she had to use. After all, every celebrity wants fame.

Shen Tong looked worriedly at this vicious woman, whose expression was now sorrowful. She had long noticed Chen Xiaoyong's unusual behavior towards Su Xiao, always sticking close to him and trying to engage him in conversation. But who could really understand matters of the heart?

"By the way, you two have a joint advertisement shoot tomorrow," Shen Tong spoke up, breaking the awkward silence. "Take a look at this schedule and familiarize yourselves with the content."

Su Xiao immediately opened his eyes and sat up, taking the papers Shen Tong handed him. He completely ignored Chen Xiaoyong, whose facial expression had turned ugly, as if the previous conversation had never happened.

Chen Xiaoyong took the papers, crumpling them in her hand. She glared hatefully at this aloof man and then shot a resentful look at Shen Tong.
