Winter's Fall (II)

In one of the dimly lit holding rooms of Silas's underground facility, a group of captured Frost family soldiers huddled together.

The sterile white walls seemed to close in on them, amplifying the oppressive silence. Their faces betrayed a mix of emotions—fear, confusion, and despair.

The air was thick with tension, and every sound, every faint sound of breathing, made them flinch.

"What does he plan to do with us?" one of them whispered, his voice trembling. His eyes darted toward the reinforced metal door as if expecting Silas himself to walk in at any moment.

Another prisoner, slumped against the wall, replied with a resigned tone, "He warned us. He told us what would happen if we stood against him. You don't need to guess our fate—it's already sealed."
