Fear of visitors (8)

Seeing the woman unconscious in front of him, Zhao Feng took a deep breath, calming himself as he still harbored a bit of anger in his heart. "I'm still a bit impulsive," he thought.

Zhao Feng did not realize the tension rising as he released his grip and the woman fell unconscious. The supermarket visitors stared at him with fearful eyes, thinking he had strangled and killed the woman.

"Dead? Did someone just die?" someone whispered in the crowd, their voice filled with anxiety.

They didn't know that the woman was still alive. They thought Zhao Feng had killed her. Panic started to spread, and the atmosphere grew tenser.

In the midst of the trembling crowd, Zhang Wei, a young man who had been watching Zhao Feng with displeasure, could no longer contain himself. His face was flushed with anger and hatred. With a hoarse and emotional voice, he began to shout.

"You killed her! You're a murderer!" Zhang Wei cried, tears streaming down his face. "I'll kill you! I'll kill you! I'll kill you!"

Zhang Wei's shouts were like a broken robot repeating the same sentence over and over, shaking the hearts of everyone who heard them. His face was terrifying, filled with hatred and a deep desire for revenge. His body thrashed wildly, trying to free himself from the bonds that tied his hands and feet. But alas, it was almost impossible for him to break free from the ropes that bound him.

"Ah, y-you k-k-killed someone!" muttered a female student named Li Na, her body trembling. Her eyes were full of fear. Her friend beside her could only nod, her lips quivering, unable to utter a single word.

The atmosphere grew more tense as Zhang Wei continued to shout at Zhao Feng like a madman. The visitors who had been trying to calm themselves were now gripped by panic. Some of them squirmed on the floor, trying to retreat as far as possible from Zhao Feng.

Now Zhao Feng had killed someone as casually as killing a chicken. In the future, wouldn't Zhao Feng be able to do the same to them as he did to that voluptuous woman? They were scared. Afraid that Zhao Feng might suddenly kill them.

Zhao Feng stood calmly, watching what the visitors were doing. However, this misunderstanding could have fatal consequences. With a calm face and as calm a voice as possible, he tried to explain.

"Wait! She's not dead! She's just unconscious! I didn't kill her," Zhao Feng shouted, trying to convince Zhang Wei and everyone around him.

However, the anger and hatred had already deeply taken over Zhang Wei's heart. "You're a liar! I'll kill you!"

Zhao Feng knew that words alone would not convince Zhang Wei, who was full of hatred, nor the other visitors who were looking at him with fearful eyes. He had to think hard to handle this situation without adding more violence and fear. Amid the chaos, Zhao Feng tried to find a way to prove that the woman was still alive.

"Calm down, everyone! She's just unconscious, not dead," Zhao Feng said as calmly as possible. "Watch closely."

He squatted beside the woman and carefully showed some vital signs that were still present. Zhao Feng placed two fingers on the woman's wrist, right above the radial artery. He hoped to feel a pulse and show signs of life to everyone watching.

Zhao Feng then placed his hand on the woman's chest, showing the subtle yet consistent rise and fall.

"She's still breathing," Zhao Feng continued, ensuring everyone could see the small movements. "I didn't hurt her to death. She just fainted from exhaustion or maybe panic."

"Clearly, she panicked to the point of fainting because of you," the visitors thought, holding back their complaints.

The crowd began to look slightly calmer after seeing the evidence Zhao Feng provided. However, Zhang Wei still stood with an angry expression, though he seemed to start doubting.

Zhao Feng stood up and spoke calmly yet firmly, his eyes sharply looking at the visitors. "Look, she's not dead. Does anyone still have any opinions?"

With Zhao Feng's words, some people in the crowd began to nod in agreement, realizing they had no better option but to agree. They were afraid of Zhao Feng. Zhang Wei, though still angry, began to realize that he might have to reluctantly accept the situation for now. Zhang Wei did not know that Zhao Feng had marked his name in his heart as a target to be eliminated in the future.

Zhao Feng felt somewhat satisfied when the crowd began to calm down. However, he was still worried about the potential effects if the woman woke up. He remembered that this woman had an unusual ability with just her gaze. To avoid that risk, Zhao Feng knew he had to act quickly.

"Calm down, as long as you comply, I won't be harsh, but if you don't, don't blame me for being cruel," Zhao Feng's words to the crowd before searching for fabric around the supermarket.

He hurried towards the clothing section and found a large, soft piece of fabric. Zhao Feng returned to the woman who was still unconscious, carefully covering her eyes with the fabric, making sure there were no gaps.

"I must check on her in the future," he murmured, tying the fabric tightly yet gently around the woman's head.

After making sure the woman's eyes were tightly covered, Zhao Feng slowly released the bindings that restrained her wrists and ankles.

Zhao Feng then turned to the crowd and saw an old woman who appeared calm and wise in their midst.

"Take care of this young lady," Zhao Feng said, handing the confused but calm child over. Even though the old woman was tied up, it wouldn't hurt to leave the child near her.

The old woman nodded calmly, taking the child with love. "I will take care of her," the old woman said softly. "Elderly people seem to really like young children," Zhao Feng thought.

Carefully, Zhao Feng carried the still unconscious woman, ensuring the fabric on her eyes remained securely in place. He carried her to a rest area inside the supermarket, a quieter place away from the crowd.

As he walked through the supermarket aisles, Zhao Feng felt a pair of angry eyes staring at him. He could guess who it was. He even started to see the beautiful green grasslands in Zhang Wei's head.

The remaining visitors around looked at him with a mix of curiosity and concern. However, they seemed calmer now.

With firm footsteps, Zhao Feng slowly walked away from the visitors with a woman in his arms.
