Trip to Tokyo

The sleek elevator doors slid open, revealing the expansive 50th floor of Skyline Enterprise. George stepped out, adjusting his navy blue tie against his crisp white shirt. He smoothed down his charcoal gray suit, a recent purchase that still felt a bit stiff but projected the professional image expected in these high-level meetings.

The boardroom doors loomed ahead, their polished mahogany surface gleaming under the recessed lighting. George took a deep breath, steeling himself for the meeting ahead. As a relatively new addition to the executive team, these gatherings still filled him with a mix of excitement and trepidation.

Pushing open the heavy doors, George was greeted by the imposing sight of the boardroom. The long, oval table dominated the space, its surface a deep cherry wood that reflected the morning light streaming in through floor-to-ceiling windows. Leather chairs, each looking more comfortable than his entire living room set, surrounded the table.
