A few hours into their journey, the party stood in front of a huge mountain. At its feet was a cave leading to the infamous Nile Labyrinth.
The labyrinth was about fifty kilometres south of Draconia. And beyond the mountain was the Dead Canyon.
The Nile Labyrinth had existed for many years. And yet one knew when it came into existence, nor when it was first discovered. It was just a popular name for some reason. Not only was the labyrinth a mystery, but even the mountain it rested under had its own enigma. It was said to be a man-made mountain, but who and how could a common man make a mountain?
"Can you get us here by tomorrow afternoon?" Leo asked the carriage driver, an old man in his sixties.
"I don't know, kiddo. The pay ain't worth the trip."
"I will double it."
"Hmm… ait, just get yourselves ready by full sun rise."
"Thanks!"
Leo left the carriage to stand beside his party members, who were looking at the cave entrance.
