Chapter 18: From this moment on, we're rivals!

Xzavier massacres the Wraiths no problem. Hageshi and Mizuki are watching from the sidelines amazed at his strength. Hageshi: "How'd you...?! But you're supposed to be number 2, how on earth did my lowly understudy surpass me." Mizuki: "guess his new nickname is number 1 then!" Mizuki chuckles but Hageshi jumps down, landing in front of Xzavier, Hageshi: "looks like you don't know your place yet! I'm number 1 and you're number 2!" Xzavier: "outta my way!" Hageshi: "oh so you're too good to speak to your king huh!" Xzavier: "I said get out of my way you annoying piece of trash!" Hageshi: "make me!" Xzavier dashes towards Hageshi. Hageshi grits his teeth and unsheathes his Frost blade. Hageshi: "I told way too many times already! I'm the best!" Hageshi charges at Xzavier aswell and then clashing. Their clash creates a huge crater in the area. Hageshi and Xzavier: "HAAAA!" they are both repelled away. Hageshi then charges at Xzavier and slashes him but Xzavier is barely able to block the incoming strike. He's knocked back by Hageshi's strike. Xzavier grits his teeth and attempts to move again but he looks down and sees that his feet are frozen. Xzavier: "smart!" Hageshi then slashes at Xzavier again but Xzavier uses his Ascension marks to block the attack with a barrier. The two stare eachother down fiercely. Hageshi begins to chant, Hageshi: "I'm number 1, the best! I'm number 1, the best! I'm number 1, the best!!!! You are a worthless piece of trash! I'll retrieve the Titan blade, and become the next TITAN OF EIDOLON!" Xzavier: "you're dreaming if you think I'm just going to let you steal my goal. As if!" Blue patterns form on Hageshi's neck. He then chuckles. Hageshi: "now it's over!" The two charge again but are held back by their partners, Xzavier: "Isla?" Hageshi: "Mizuki?" The girls pull the boys, Isla: "you two are going to destroy the place with your fighting!" Mizuki: "exactly, let's go!" The girls walk away with the two but Xzavier suddenly stops, Xzavier: "from this moment on we are rivals! Our rivalry will ONLY end when one of us gets the Titan blade and becomes the next Titan of Eidolon!" Hageshi: "What are you psychic? You took the words right out of my mouth! I'll show you that you're nothing but second place!" The two glare at eachother before walking off with the partners.

Later in Xzavier and Isla's room, Isla is sitting on her bunk reading a book on male anatomy, Isla smirks adjusting her glasses. Isla: "interesting." Xzavier then walks out of the steamy bathroom shirtless and toweled up from the waist down. Isla's surprised at his physique and drools as Xzavier drys his hair. Isla: "the experiments I could do right now!" Xzavier: "As if I'm going to consent to such." Isla: "oh come on! Please it'll be quick and painless!" Xzavier: "go to sleep Isla we've got tasks tomorrow." Isla groans while Xzavier dresses up and gets into his bunk. Isla grunts and they both go to sleep.
